Fun all-round touring!!
5-years and still loving it. 34 MPG consistently on the HWY with the original Michelins. 20-25 MPG in the city (up-hill/down-hill with stoplights in my area), averaging at 29 MPG over 5 years. Sufficient acceleration, lateral G like a Porsche Macan, 3500 lbs. towing capacity, good lane keeping while admiring the landscape. Yep, front head-rests are a pain for some folks though. Just replace my tires with Firestone Firehawks. Softer/smoother ride with less tire noise. Enjoying every mile out of the city, whether freeway, country road, or winding mountain road, even mild off-road.

You always win with Volvo
I owned an XC60 prior to purchasing the XC40, obviously the interior/cargo space is smaller but it works perfect for my needs. It has some very cool interior lighting. The touch screen did take a little getting used to, since everything including the manual are accessed through it. The car is a bit noisy when on the highway but it is not horrible by any means. It is a very smooth ride. The only complaint that I have is the headrests are way too forward and are a bit uncomfortable especially in the back. Overall a really great car for the money and having owned one previously, I know they are extremely reliable.
