We've owned 4 Volkswagons and was pleased with reliability and quality. Purchased a 2022 Taos and had occurances of it going in to reduced engine power. Dealer could not identify problem and recommended using premium or "Top Tier" fuel. Which we always did. At the 30k mile oil change, my wife was told the rear brake pads needed replaced. Dealership admitted there was more wear possibly due to "Adaptive Cruise Control." That cost $693. So long Volkswagon! You lost a loyal customer.

I love the SUV to drive, great gas mileage, comfortable, lots of features and good warranty. Problem is VW Corp knows of problems like infotainment system problems and head gasket issues and they will not issue recalls. My car has only 14K miles and already has had to have the head gasket replaced and they cannot duplicate the problem with the infotainment system as it will just cut off and reload several times a day. When you are a Realtor that uses nav to show properties this can be a problem. I have always loved VW and the service and warranty, but they have dropped the ball on this one. I will be trading the car in soon.

Quiet for its size, not overpowered but not too slow. Small 4 cyl with turbo will take some adjusting to. I find it drives better in Sport mode vs regular "D" on the automatic D/S transmission. The interior is very roomy and nicely appointed. Love the steering feel. Gas mileage is impressive. Styling is appealing to me especially in the Pure Gray paint.

I Love the interior space (So much space). Love the cornflower blue color. with the DSG im used to it (Got Golf R - 2018). So everything is nice. Can't wait to use it this coming winter time!!!

Has great pep on the drive home. It rode smooth and took road bumps well. A pleasure to drive or ride as a passenger. After 6 months still very pleased with the Taos. We have now put about 4,000 miles on it.
