Used 2018 Volkswagen Golf GTI Consumer Reviews
Great car!
Love this car! So much fun! Many great things about it: acceleration, steering, cloth seats, gas mileage, small size, etc. I got the manual but would have been just as happy with the automatic. I own a 2009 & 2015 BMW 335, but I prefer to drive the GTI.

Nimble Rocket
I rated acceleration 4 of 5, not cuz it's slow (it's actually really quick), but because there is a bit of turbo lag. But once you get the swing of how to work with it with the manual trans, it's not a problem. This car is so solid, confidence-inspiring and neutral feeling, yet it feels ready to play at all times. And it's an absolute monster on twisty roads. All that, and it's as sedate of a cruiser as you like when you want it to be. Amazing all-arounder of a car.

This car is AWESOME!
I was skeptical about buying a VW - I had set on one of the following: Mazda 3, Honda Civic, or a Ford Focus. Since I was out shopping anyway, I decided to check out the GTI; it was love at first acceleration. This car is awesome - you can select Eco mode, drive it responsibly, and get 39mpg; or you can select Sport mode, let the turbo do its thing, and have a lot of fun. I like small cars; this one fits the bill while taking 4 adults around very comfortably. The interior is nice, instruments are well positioned, the seats are snug and firm (as you would expect from a sport car), and the driving position commanding. I got the standard speakers, and I'm happy with them. The dual clutch transmission is something out of this world - it switches gears quickly and seamlessly. All in all, this is a fine specimen of German engineering at its best.

falling in love with my GTI
The car is only a month old for me but I absolutely love driving it. I commute 100 miles a day and this car makes it much less of a chore. Acceleration on the highway is amazing and the nimble handling makes it a blast to drive around town. The only knock that I would give it is that I am struggling to get close to the advertised MPG. That might be attributed to a heavy foot though. :-)

Check Engine Vehicle
I love VW , i buy 2017 GTI and i visit more than 4 time dealer service center , every week GTI has check engine motor light on with misfire with just 16k miles . I hate that , the dealer service are poor too.
