Used 2018 Volkswagen Golf GTI Consumer Reviews
GTI S, 6 Speed Manual
Let me start by saying I did absolutely did not want to get a VW. I got mine at a price I couldn't turn down. I've put 20k on it so far doing oil changes every 5k with the VW recommended oil and I've had absolutely no issues. I also don't drive the vehicle like a mad man (99% of the time). Its has 50k on it right now, and no issues. Very satisfied with the engine performance. The only thing I don't like is the plastic oil pan that has the quick spill oil drain plug. You can upgrade it to the metal oil pan, but it's a little pricey. And the vehicle can get a little shaky going a little above highway speed. Overall, I have fallen in love with this car. I would give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Love my GTI hate the dealer
2017 GTI Autobahn with all the packages. I love the clutch and shifter. Love the ride and interior. Tons of features and its a nearly perfect car. If you are in the Richmond area do yourself a favor and avoid West Broad Volkswagen (Or any page auto group dealer) like the plague. Horrible service and dishonest as all get out. They never take responsibility for mistakes that they make. And they have pulled this same stunt on other customers, and they have honest reviews removed. And they went as far as have an attorney send me a false cease and desist letter wanting me to remove my honest yet negative reviews. I DID NOT REMOVE THEM.

Great buy
I own a truck to drive if there is a lot of snow out. It's fast! If I were to do it over I would probably go with the dsg just because having an automatic is nice. But the manual is amazing too. I paid 26k for mine with discounts and I feel like I got a really great value. I haven't had any mechanical issues but I will update if this changes
