Turns out you have to go the DMV for new cars and get a VIN check. They very clearly told me that I didn't have to do this. When I called them this morning to ask when I was going to get my registration- they again told me that I didn't have to go the DMV for a VIN check. I'm leaving town in 3 weeks for three months. I shouldn't have to deal with this. And wouldn't have to deal with this if they would know the basics. It's not ok to not be be educating your staff about basic processes like this and as a result causing so much trouble for your clients. ***
