2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross
Leased a 2022 EC right after its release in March of 2021. AC worked fine during the four months of summer. After a long winter I did not use the ac again until the beginning of June and it did not work. It didn't occur to me to test my ac during the winter to see if it was working in order to fix it within the 12mo warranty. Due to working from home I had less than 6K miles on the … vehicle. Dealership wanted to charge me $200 for a diagnostic test which I did not do. After much researching, there are numerous complaints about the same problem for this specific year and model. The reason it's significant is because after the release of this new model there was a low number of vehicles imported into this country and Mitsubishi has not done a recall. This is my sixth Mitsubishi and this issue seems to be the result of poor manufacturing.
