This is an affordable LUXURY SUV. I have owned 3 Mercedes Benz GLS-450 (2007, 2013, 2017). They were very good vehicles and I occasionally use the 3rd row seats. I have never owned a BMW because of the stiff ride and interior noise level. The X7 was quieter than the GLS and the ride a bit smoother. The price for comparable vehicles with identical options was significantly lower for the … X7. I was also ready for a change. MB does little in the way of cosmetic change. My 2017 certainly had more features and technology than the 2007 model but it was essentially unchanged inside and out.
