Dealer Review:
We bought a 2013 Scion FRS from Wyatt Johnson. This car had a little over 8000 miles. We were ecstatic to find such a low mileage car. We were buying remotely and asked the sales rep Felipe if the car had anything wrong with it or if it was truly a good low mile toyota car! Felipe said the car was just a good low mile car and grabbed some pictures. We bought the car, had it shipped for my 22 yr old son. This was his first car purchase on his own. 300 Miles later, the engine blew. Called it into toyota service dealer to see if there is anything that could be done, they looked at this history and this car had already had the engine blown once before. The carfax just showed "serviced", but the actual service records (which any reputable dealer would have looked at) showed the engine had the crank, pistons, and bearings replaced. So the engine had blown once before as was thrown back together and sold at auction. After calling Wyatt Johnson and Felipe to let them know what happened and asking for assistance on a car that should NEVER have been sold this way, I was told he would get back to me right away. But here we are 2 weeks later. No word back (not surprising). Just know, when you're dealing with this dealership, they are no better than the charlatan used car dealers that look to weasel their way into your pocket book. Not the "reputable" new car dealership one should expect when going here.

Dealer Review:
Buy elsewhere. Dishonest dealership. Avoid Dean Team Volvo of St. Louis. SHORT VERSION: Dean Team sold me a CPO car with faulty camera, lied that repair had been made (service dept confirmed no repair had been made), and didn't honor the deal they agreed to. Dishonest, shady dealership. Specifically, I suggest you avoid working with Pat Pyle or Grant Winnett. LONGER VERSION: Dean Team sold me a car with a faulty camera. The faulty camera was shown in the online listing's photos. I was told it had been fixed. Upon delivery to me, the camera was still broken. Their service department informed me there was no record of any service to the car after the initial CPO intake inspection. So, essentially they told me they'd fixed a problem, but never did. That's a big problem for a CPO car. Second, Dean Team Volvo did not honor the financial terms of the deal. Specifically that the car would be delivered with a full tank of fuel. Upon delivery, the tank was just over half full. This is not a huge financial issue, but a deal is a deal, and Dean Team Volvo did not keep their word. Lastly, the vehicle was not delivered by the agreed-upon date, resulting significant rental car cost to me. Once my deposit was paid, the dealer was unresponsive for a week, and delivery was delayed weeks beyond the agreed upon date. Buyer beware: avoid Dean Team Volvo. Shop elsewhere.

Just bought a "36,000-mile" Jaguar XJ Portfolio from Jackie Cooper Imports, paid a premium price, went to get an oil change at my Jaguar dealer, and got a report https://c.xtime.com/gRq3ScXobgAA2BvgXX for $4000.00 of rotten parts on this car with immediate attention in red. Caveat Emptor! The CarFax says Jackie Cooper did an inspection and an alignment before they offered it for sale. No such this was ever done.
