2008 Aston Martin V8 Vantage
This car turns heads! Maneuvering on freeway is easy and can compete with more expensive performance vehicles. That is in traffic. It will not be fastest car on the road. But it handles well, especially if you use paddle controls. Be careful to park in shaded areas as key computer components are located where extreme heat might cause problems. Use a trickle charge to prevent battery … issues if driving as second car. Never try to jump start or hit trunk button for reserve/non- driving mode. Manual is not same as the car details.
I replaced computers and such. The location of gps screen is not ideal. Know where you are going so you never need it! Upgrade with backup camera and maybe forward camera to avoid parking issues. It’s small and sits low, so be aware
The rear view mirror darkens to a point you cannot judge traffic behind. Sun shields are decorative! The windshield hits most vision at bad spot. If battery depleted, do not mess with any seat controls. Take to Aston Martin dealer for service.
Insurance is pricey even with great rating and low miles. Maintenance is fairly cheap with great mechanic.
