Used 2007 Toyota Yaris Consumer Reviews
love my yaris
I love my yaris. It is extremely reliable. Mine has 170k on it and I've had it almost a year with zero problems. Due to the high mileage on the car I purchased a year warranty when I bought the car. I wish I never did because I'm coming up on my year and have not had to use it once. The only complaints I have about the car are the cup holders are placed right in front of the vents which gets really annoying during the summer considering I live in Florida. Another thing is the acceleration is not so great on the car. I don't know much about cars so I kind of assume that's due to the car being very basic. It is just really hard to speed up on small ramps leading to the interstate or if you underestimate and pull in front of fast going traffic.

LITTLE YARIS.
This is a great city car, as it doesn't do well on very steep mountain roads. You must shift down to first gear if very steep.

It Is Good. Trust Me.
You will be more than happy with the right expectations. Of owning and using a used car. Absolutely reliable and fun to maneuver and drive around the city. And oh man, its way too practical with foldable seats and too many glove compartments and cup holders.

128,000+ miles and counting
Bought my Yaris 4 years ago for combination of $$$, MPG, and proven Toyota reliability. Today, the car owes me nothing. I've driven over 128,000 miles including two-month long cross-country car-camping trip last year that included 2 weeks in Alaska. Car still has original brakes, shocks - everything. Great car and simply cannot beat the value.
Awesome little car
283,000 miles and still great mpg. Keep the oil changes and maintenance up on this baby and it will last. Easy to park in a city setting.

Gas and money savers delight
This is a great vehicle for people who want to have a solid commuter which does not cost them money. I do drive a lot on the highway and I also do drive the speed limits and accelerate at a modest rate, but any driver can achieve great fuel mileage on this car. After 5000 miles, I'm averaging over 44 MPG. I use the air conditioner whenever it's warm. The Yaris is made for economical driving and is not meant to substitute for a sporty car. For the price, you get a little more than you pay for if legendary Toyota reliability is present and I'll know that in a couple hundred thousand miles. I highly recommend this car for responsible people who keep a budget and are environmentally aware.
Very happy with the Yaris
I bought the Yaris a year ago after my '97 Monte Carlo broke down and decided it wasn't worth fixing. The Yaris is rather comfortable and is very easy to maneuver. It looks really small on the outside but it's actually roomy on the inside. I drive at least 30 miles a day to and from school and the gas mileage is incredible and the comfort of the seats are great. The Yaris does not perform well during wintery and icy conditions. The car heats up relatively quick during winter months.
great little car
I love my little car, it gets wonderful gas mileage. I have taken it up the mountain passes many times, and it cruises nicely up them all.
Faulty seatbelts in Yaris 2007
Have been loyal Toyota person. Can't wait to get rid of this one. Had accident with frontal impact. Seatbelts did not engage. Toyota gave us the run around. Cannot continue to buy from a mfgr that will not stand behind it's product. Also have a moisture leak in the interior. Dealer has been unable to find it after 3 visits. Airbags also did not go off on impact. Police gave us an affidavit regarding defective seatbelts. I don't sue people but Toyota should be ashamed! I hope any Yaris owner will have their seatbelts checked!! It could save your life!
The Future
Love this car. No power complaints and I have driven t-birds and a range rover but then it's a stick. At 55,000 and still get low 40s mpg on the Highway and mid 30 in town. I love the design interior. And with the fuel situation being what it might be this is a great great car. Fifth in mileage and the top four are hybrids. Drive regularly up and down East Coast in great comfort so no idea what strange driving position is all about. So learn to drive a stick, i.e. real driving, and welcome to the future
