Lots of annoying little things
I was afraid the V6 would lack power especially while towing. I was wrong. It's a beast. The seats are great, drove 5 hours and never got out to stretch. Interior wind noise at 65 mph plus is terrible. Stereo is acceptable but unless you pay for SiriusXM, Amazon or Apple music it's hit or miss deal. Regardless you have to crank it to hear it at highway speeds. It tows well but I am having problems backing it up. It just stops despite the trailer being recognized, and all the other things turned off. I'm at the dealer now and I can honestly say I made a mistake. I could have gotten a Ram, F150 or a Chevy

DECEPTIVE
I bought 2024 tundra.Interior is great and very roomy. Gas millage is always around 15 despite of having the engine on eco mode and driving sensibly. I hear wind noice from the driver and passenger doors is utterly annoying. Be honest it is not worth the money!

So bummed, way too much electronics and safety
It’s been a year, probably gonna let it go. This is my 4th Toyota truck. This time around the electronics, excessive safety features, noise, bugs, seat, beeps, warnings, settings, app, display and overall day to day have made it an annoying and let down experience. I’m thinking about getting an old basic truck or Subaru. Way too many features in this limited model that are just unnecessary and over the top

2024 Tundra misaligned passenger doors! No Fix!
2024 TOYOTA TUNDRA ISSUE WITH MISALIGNED PASSENGER DOORS! NO FIX! Brought my 2024 Tundra to Kenosha Toyota where I purchased it to fix misaligned passenger side doors. I was told by the Kenosha Toyota service dept the doors are not adjustable and cannot be fixed. The service associate then brought me to the sales floor and showed me another truck with the same problem. I went outside and looked at a row of new Tundras with the same misaligned passenger doors and some were worse than mine. Hard to believe Toyota is shipping their new Tundras from the factory with misaligned doors as well as no way to adjust these doors. I was told by a Toyota consumer satisfaction representative that they are aware of this production issue and if Toyota gets enough complaints, they will issue a recall. BIG 1 STAR for POOR TOYOTA QUALITY!
Wanted a luxury truck for towing boats
28k update. 17 times at the dealer to get the issues resolved. Still a really good truck but jeckyl/hyde. What it does well it does really well. The shortcomings are glaring. IForceMax is outstanding power. Transmission is excellent. I have the AVS/air bags option. The AVS is disappointing… barely any difference in comfort mode than normal. Still feel bumps on bad roads. The sport+ mode is awesome for torquey acceleration in heavy traffic without gear changes. I came from 2013 Tundra SR5 5.7l with 235,000 trouble free miles still running strong with my son. I miss the growl of the 5.7l. The piped in sound is a joke. This truck moves but the sound of V6 just doesn’t cut it for me but the acceleration and torque in this truck is outstanding. I have trailer mirrors. For trailering they are outstanding and versatile, coupled with the trailering algorithms they are well designed together. However, in daily driving without trailer they are not hard to see cars in your blind spots. This truck has lots of blind spots. So lane changes are challenging. The amount of wind noise is terrible. For a vehicle with acoustic glass on the windshield and side driver windows the towing mirrors are very loud on the highway. The ride from the factory with air bag suspension was harsh. I hit the bump stops all the time making for a rough ride. I did my research and worked with the master technician and they got it dialed in now. When towing it’s a dream ride even with 9000lb trailer. Empty it’s very good but not great. I have the Toyota tonneau cover and the interior of the box lighting is fantastic. The composite box is nice but needs refinement even with the $850 sprayed in bed liner stuff slides around … a lot. I know this because I have 3 boxes of items I have to store in the bed because the center council and old storage areas are non-existent in this truck. The center council is a joke. It’s really Mickey Mouse. Cup holders are useless. None of my yetis fit, large Gatorade bottles don’t fit. The QI charging is a joke. Bad location, weak charging and I find I have to grab my phone constantly because the CarPlay interface is missing functionality. Toyota leads in safety technology but this iPhone integration sucks. It makes me a bad driver trying to grab my phone while driving and fighting to hold it with cups in the cupholders. The 22” wheels look classy but the Bridgestone tires are absolute crap tires. Piss poor grip in snow and ice,loud, rough ride and over $550 per tire to replace. What a joke. I’m moving to a Michelin non factory tire and it will cost me over $2200 to replace the [non-permissible content removed] tires from Toyota. Very disappointing. Which brings me to my last three points. The integrated trailer brake is well thought out but the hitch receiver is terrible. It’s tucked underneath the bumper making it hard to see how to get the pin inserted and pinned. Every time I have to install the hitch my knuckles scrape the sharp plastic and cut my hands. When the pin is installed and pinned you can’t get the safety chains installed without screwing around. Getting the pin out is an effort of pain. They have it tucked so far up you cannot get it out without tearing your knuckles up and swearing about the stupid engineer who designed this joke. For a truck that pulls incredibly well, this is 101 stuff. Any of you engineers actually use this screw up? Item #2 nanny controls, I went from a 2013 truck that had crude antilock brake and stability control to this tour de force. In my 2013 I knew when the truck was at its limits. The antilock brakes growled and the stability control took away throttle. In this capstone there is no communication at the edge. It’s rock solid until it’s not. I have gone into curves way too fast because the truck just feels so tight until it’s not. At the edge it is a flipping hand full like a dead fish. It will take a lot of miles to know when it’s close to chaos. The many control is just insane. Constant flashes of sensors alarms, and beeps and dings, and lights flashing on the screen it’s overwhelming and dangerous. You go from great safety to I wish I never got rid of my 2013. When hooking up a trailer it’s a joke. If the driver door is open it will not go forward or in reverse. The parking brakes locks and the truck will not move and there are 1000 lights and alarms and displays. Cmon Toyota, you went out of your way to make this a tow truck and you can’t convince the nanny police to turn off all safety BS? Backing out of my garage or driving into it is the sound of music. All those sensors dinging and beeping drives me insane. You can’t turn them off fast enough. At least the camera system is very good. You at least know why all of dinging beeping and audio warnings are going off. This 3rd gen is much better than the 2nd gen however this 3rd gen was rushed to market and it shows in quality and annoyance. It’s like the truck is 80% designed and the last 20% of integration and refinement was stopped. The Tundra design team was understaffed when it came to real world
