My second Tundra. This being a 4 WD. All good except gas mileage. Update 4/22/21. Now owned for 3 years next month. I only have 12,400 miles on the truck. I have under utilized it. Never towed a trailer or boat. Never used the 4 wheel drive option off road or towing. It has had no mechanical issues. Only problem are unskilled drivers hitting it while it is legally parked... Updated 4-25-23 only 19600 miles and have owned it 5 years as of May 2023. No problems. Still under utilized as a 4WD pickup. But I like it and feel safe in it. Enjoy the V8 power.

Bought this truck for specific reasons,(tow a 7000 pound boat and a work truck that holds full sheets of plywood) and it seems to do what I bought it for. Towed my boat from Long Island to Boston, a couple of hundred miles with no issues. Still getting used to it has great acceleration, comfortable on the highway, hauls my work trailer effortlessly, and has decent gas mileage for a full size truck. It is not the most luxurious but I knew that when I bought it and sort of like that about it and wish it did get better mileage but can’t have the power it does and mileage too but if there is one thing I can say I don’t like when driving is a blind spot to the right forward of the side mirrors. It is probably typical in all larger trucks but it is a concern to be cautious of. Overall I like the truck very much so far.

Great Truck - Entune JBL stereo is a JOKE

2018 Toyota Tundra Platinum 4dr CrewMax 4WD SB (5.7L 8cyl 6A)

Purchased a fully loaded Tundra Platinum Crewmax and Love the truck, but need to spend some money to replace the JBL stereo upgrade that came with the truck. The Entune JBL Stereo is by far the worst radio I have had in any vehicle that I have owned in the last 30 years. I have a couple other Toyota cars, and the Entune system is poorly designed , but the JBL System takes that poor design to another level. Completely under powered system. At full volume you can still talk to the other passengers in the Truck.

I've owned a 2014 SR5 4 we Crewmax, a 2016 Limited Crewmax 4wd and now a 2018 Limited Crewmax 4wd. All 3 have been great trucks and have been totally reliable. These trucks are comfortable to spend time in on commutes and trips. I like the trucks ability to accelerate rapidly to pass when necessary.

Outdated 2018 Toyota Tundra

I love the updated exterior body style and LED headlights . However the interior is the same as my 2012 Toyota Corolla I had . Nothing has changed in about 6 years . The tundra is lagging behind in the other brands when it comes to technology and interior . The gas mileage on this truck is pretty terrible for 2018 . I average about 15 mpg and that’s babying it at all times . Not offering a push to start is very irritating as well . My 2016 Tacoma had one but the 2018 Tundra doesn’t offer one . Doesn’t make much sense . Regretting on leasing this vehicle .
