Average 14.1 through 2600 Miles A little disappointing 50/50% I was hoping to match My 03 chevy Avalanche of 16MPG. I bought it for the reliability not the MPG. Time will tell.

Sheep in Wolves clothing

I own the 2017 Tundra 1794 edition and I am not impressed. I don't care about towing, gas mileage, or payload, I just like trucks. They truck looks beefy and brawny, so I get lots of compliments. My concern is the 1794 is suppose to be one of the top of line models but it is filled with cheap plastic and poor craftsmanship everywhere. Not to tell my age, but the JBL stereo sounds like a Walkman on steroids, You can see noticeable gaps in the several areas of the interior, the transmission is terrible at best, the ride not the normal Toyota quality ( please stick to making in Japan, nothing against American workers but the quality is noticeably not the same), the seats look good but does not fair well to normal Monday through Friday driving from home to work, less that 10 miles round trip. The problem is, I like the truck but I am very disappointed with the quality and craftsmanship. So why do I keep it? Only because no other crew cab offers a full rear glass that lets down. If any of the other truck makers ( other than Ford, sorry, owned one before) offer a rear window that fully goes down, then I will no longer consider this Sheep in Wolves clothing.

I've owned my Tundra for over 5 years and 60,000 miles, and I'm still very satisfied. I expected a highly reliable truck that would never leave me stranded, especially when towing our travel trailer in the middle of nowhere, and was willing to sacrifice a few $ and mpg to achieve that. The Tundra has met or exceeded all my expectations. It still looks and feels like new. The truck is solid, quiet, and comfortable. The power and stability provide a worry-free and stable tow. Tow/Haul mode is very effective. The Integrated Trailer Brake Controller has given me no problems (despite its many online naysayers). Gas mileage is about as expected when towing (~11 mpg, +/- 2 depending on tail or head wind), but I average ~2 mpg over EPA estimates in all conditions (city/hwy/combined) when not towing. It's been completely trouble-free; zero issues or repairs. Each scheduled maintenance has been performed at a different Toyota location (we RV full-time), and my experience with each has been good to excellent. I highly recommend a Tundra to anyone who places functionality over style, and reliability over bells and whistles.

My late 2017 purchase

It’s late in the model year, so that equates to sacrifice time! Meaning, I had to sacrafice a few things to save some cash. So, I gave up color and a few options for a larger fuel tank, however I did get most everything else I was looking for. After all, it is a truck, right!?! Deal wise, I felt it ended up to be a pretty fair deal in the end. However, I do wish I would have found this truck with the blinkers in the mirrors, the blind spot warning system and auto dimming headlights. Other than that, I believe I will be another satisfied/happy Toyota owner!

Every limited, platinum, or 1794 gurantee have a rear right side of bumper not align correctly. Toyota says it’s normal but the dealership can’t fix the problem please go look and pass around
