My 2012 tundra 5.7
This truck is the best truck I’ve owned. I bought it with 28k and I now have 166k o it at present. Outside of reg maintenance I have changed the coil packs, plugs. That’s it. I went with the NGK plugs and coil packs and I can’t believe the power difference! The truck was quick before but now it’s a rocket ship! The one complaint I do have is the power door lock actuators. Sometimes they work with the remote but mostly they don’t. 289 dollars for a new actuator isn’t in my budget. I’ll just use the key thanks. Outside of the lock issue, I haven’t had ANY issues. I do maintain my truck very well and Toyota does all the service. I’ve owned the big three but this truck is by far the best. It’s not flashy, no bells, no whistles. I will forgo all that for the dependability.

Rough and Noisy
Changed off road package and tires due to road nois, but this is the noisiest truck I have ever owned (at least 10). Turning radius is poor. Poor visibility when backing up. Radio is not speed sensitive and due to road noise have to constantly ajust volume. Specifically purchased a Toyota because of ratings and USA mfg. Next truck will be a GM or Ford product. Milage (~17mpg mixed) and blue tooth are great Milage has dropped to 16+

ivery hard starting when cold just like on you tub
Very hard starts when cold Engine just keeps cranking and it may start eventually. The dealership is the very worst in st cloud mn as far as support for this issue. Big waste of money to buy a nice Lemon truck, it may start fine when engine is warm but from a dead overnight start forget it starting normally. Some say its a flex fuel thing that toyota will not stand behind or will fully ignore you when you mention this issue, plus even if it starts great once than on the 6th or 7th start it'll start all over again. (what a MESS, NIGHTMARE, and LEMON issue for a buyer that spent $26000 for and a dealer that wont listen or a company like Toyota that ignores you. Please consider Chev or GMC or even Ford. You'll same yourself a huge headache
