As of 6-11-2018 I have over 387,000 miles on this truck. It’s been virtuality trouble free except for the usual maintenance (I.e., I’ll change, brakes, timing belt etc). My only complaint about buying a new Toyota is that they haven’t redesigned the truck in years.

Nicest car I have ever owned

Greatest vehicle ever. Incredible power, not too shabby mpg for a V8. When I first bought it, I drove from Utah to Nebraska and back climbing through Wyoming, fighting strong headwinds and side winds traveling 85 to 105 mph. This truck never missed a beat and got 18 mpg. The only other time I calculated mileage was 2 years ago hauling a 4,000 lb. trailer from Utah to Indiana. I got 10 mpg, but I had no trouble keeping it at 80 to 85 even going up steep inclines. Other than the fact that it needs a new windshield now and the shocks aren't brand new, it still drives like a brand new truck even with 105,000 miles on it. Only regret: not buying leather interior. I never want to sell this truck!

After 5 Ford F150/250's since '93 I decided to try Tundra.Couldn't be more pleased. Many reviews complain re gas mileage, but what does one expect from a 245 hp V-8? I get 16 city 19+ hwy. Last F150 (2001 V-6) was about the same. I've had this truck 3+ months and 9800 miles. I'd give it all 10's; but those are reserved for my wife.

An extremely good value full size pick-up that does everything I need. I've used it for construction and it can carry anything. The engine is a solid performer that still runs like new and in all these years it has never been in a shop except for basic maintenance. I got a new Toyota Prius V having sold the truck for $5000.00. The vehicle was worth every penny I spent, however I enjoy the comfort and quiet of the Prius. The improvement in gas milage, more than double, 41mpg is a bonus.

I had my Tundra in Mexico for 3 years. All we had were dirt roads and since we were on the beach, there was a salt spray problem. This truck is outstanding. It runs just like new and has no rattles.
