Used 2019 Toyota Tacoma Consumer Reviews
Nice looking truck but terrible quality
Test drove 3 different Tacomas as I was looking to trade my 2013 Titan pro 4X. I am extremely happy I kept my Titan. It has been the best truck I've ever owned. This Tacoma drives terrible, rides ok, sluggish and constantly shifted on all 3 trucks I tested. Dealer wanted 50 OTD for a 2018 Off road. Hilarious. My Titan is 10 times nicer in every way except may mpg but I'm not sure what the Tacoma gets for mpgs but I'm hearing its not good. I won't be buying a Tacoma.

Great truck, with character flaws
If you are buying a Tacoma Off-Road without the Premium Off-Road package expect limited interior amenities. It’s a great truck, but for the price and times, it is lacking basic creature comforts. Gas mileage is more like 15mpg, which is disappointing, considering that gas mileage was supposed to be the saving grace of a gutless transmission. Don’t let the bad deter you though. You won’t find a more capable truck off-road.

First truck totaled, on my second Tacoma
Great purchase, almost the same model I had (2014 - PreRunner) only 2019 version, with added features.

Underpowered and tech lagged
It’s a wonderful truck but it is underpowered and the backup camera and cabin electronics are something you would find in a 10 year old Cadillac. I bought it new in Texas, drove it to CA and shipped to Hawaii. It’s a great truck for Hawaii but a questionable choice for Texas.
