Used 2020 Toyota RAV4 Consumer Reviews
2020 Rav4 Limited Hybrid Seats
We have owned a Prius, a Camry Hybrid and many other vehicles And none have ever had seat issues. The seats in the 2020 Rav4 are terrible. It is a great riding and fuel efficient vehicle (39.1 mpg average for first 5,000 miles) but the seats cause pains that I have never experienced before. We have a Limited model that is loaded with nearly every option including faux leather seats. Driving short distances of 40 miles or less is not an issue. Once you get to 50+ miles, leg pains start. By 100 miles, you have to shift from one side of your buttocks to the other. By 200 miles you are in absolute agony from pains in the buttocks and pains down your legs to even some foot discomfort. I have never owned a vehicle that causes these issues. Since this vehicle was purchased to drive trips of mostly 125 miles, I am really disappointed. We also own a 2017 GMC Acadia Denali and a 2015 Ford Explorer. Neither of these vehicles have any issues with seating discomfort. I have driven both of these vehicles 850 miles non-stop, except for fuel with absolutely no discomfort. Think of driving from Wilmington, DE to Jacksonville, FL. If I were to drive the Rav4 This distance, I would most likely end up with permanent nerve damage in my legs. I neglected to say that my wife also has similar issues with the seats. We have purchased gel seat toppers and they only offer a minimal Improvement.

Rav4 TRD Off Road
Very happy with my TRD! Great fuel economy in city and over 33 mpg on hwy! This car is very comfortable and the suspension gives it a great drive. I have the JBL sound system and it is worth the upgrade. This car is such a great car because it performs well in both the city and outdoor/off-road adventures.

Disappointed with Toyota
Test drive was great and for the first month I always very happy. The first time I went to fill the tank up it wouldn’t take a full tank. This is a very common problem that Toyota has promised to fix but as of January 2021 no fix has been announced. Also after 6 months the fuel efficiency began to suffer. Advertised at 40/mpg avg I’ve managed to only get roughly 33/mpg. I live in San Francisco and have hills but also the car promises to be better in cities. Anyway wish I could go back. I have the 2020 XSE.

Our Toyota RAV4 Adventure has begun!
This is my sixth Toyota first being a new 1971 Toyota Celica. This RAV4 Adventure has the best fit and finish of all of them both interior and exterior. Vehicle is loaded with safety features. Handling is excellent. Likes others have stated, engine noise is more pronounced on aggressive acceleration but not annoying. Gas mileage around town is 30 with regular fuel. Two features I miss is a power rear lift gate and a power passenger front seat. I believe there is a option package that includes them. Overall very pleased with my new RAV4 Adventure.

This Vehicle Has Everything!
The new RAV4 comes loaded with a ton of safety features, along with some fantastic comfort options. I like the visibility while driving and the cabin display is a significant upgrade from previous years.
