Red hot
It is a classy looking car with great gas mileage. We are getting 73 mpg. We bought the red with black trim. We love it
2 to 5 stars depending if it's driveable
My Rav4 has been in the shop for 6 weeks after the dash went comepltely dark one day. The dealership said this has only happened once before...and it took 9 months to get the part to fix it! I just called them and now they have 2 Rav4's witht he same issue in their shop. So I am in a nasty rental while I continue to pay the loan and insurance for this vehicle. When it worked, it was awesome.

Great new car
Car only on week old but it was worth the wait. Ordered last August. Great ride, mileage and sound system.

Terrible radio; lower quality Toyota than expected
The radio interface is something out of the 1990's. Cumbersome and very annoying when it takes 30-60 seconds for the system to connect with the radio. Annoying when Apple CarPlay overrides radio but that seems to be the case with other brand names as well. Rear seat protectors on back-side of seats are worthless. The velcro never stays attached. Might seem like minor issues but the overall quality is just not there on this vehicle. I do have some buyer's remorse. For paying so much for this vehicle Ron Tonkin Toyota was terrible with follow-through on customer satisfaction. Not impressed.
Undrivable for EV-only mode
The pedestrian whine is running AT ALL TIMES under 22mph. You have a high pitched whine going off literally every time you approach a stop, or leave from a stop. My intention for this car was to be EV at all times in my most locally driving life, and then use the ICE/hybrid for longer trips. The whine is so loud it's infuriating. And I have only had it in winter with the windows closed so far. The backup whine makes sense, but the forward whine is unbearable. I had a Tesla model 3 for three years. Imagine the backup whine, but even louder, and running at all times under 22mph. I regret buying this car so much. It wasn't charged when I test drove it, so it was running the ICE. I was more concerned with comfort, and it never occurred to me there would be a forward whine.
