Used 2019 Toyota Prius Consumer Reviews
Overall great vehicle
I have owned a 11 Prius, 13 Prius V, 15 Prius V, 16 Rav 4 Hybrid, and now this one. I purchased this in Blizzard Pearl with Moonstone interior. I love the color combo. I purchased the 4 Touring for the power seat, and upgraded JBL stereo, it also had upgraded safety and self parking. It has excellent features, my favorites being excellent headlights w/auto high beams, advanced cruise control, auto braking, smooth ride, very good visibility, key free, MPG's, handling hatchback versatility, comfortable. If you want a spare tire, you can pick one up at discount tire for 135. including tax. Toyota wanted 200. plus tax. The car does come with a jack already. I thought about the Prime, but I do not have a place to plug it in at my condo. and you lose hatchback space and lose 1 back seat passenger space. The 17 inch wheels have a Bridgestone tire that can be loud on rough pavement. It is not that bad. The firm tire gives you great mileage. On the Prius Chat site, they speak about quieter tires when it is time to change your tires. I am very satisfied with this vehicle, it seems to do everything right ! The mileage is outstanding, I believe I will have this vehicle a long time.

Unreal MPG
I purchased the Prius Four on July 23, 2018. Topped up gas on July 24th and zeroed out Trip A. Filled up on August 4 at Costco. Did 568.5 miles and used 8.214 gallons for 69.2 mpg. This is significantly better mileage than our 2016 Prius Three Touring, which gets 63+ mpg. We had one significant repair (strut) on 2016 Prius which was covered by warranty. Very satisfied with both cars. After a bit more than one year, still love this car. Worst gas mileage was 59 on Houston-Corpus Christi-Houston all freeway trip of approx. 450 miles. Overall mileage still almost 68mpg. No mechanical problems. Would change literally nothing. Feb. 9, 2020. Approximately 21,000 miles with car computer overall mpg at 67.9 . Having checked car speed against Police Radar and figure it is about 2 mph optimistic, so probably car 66mph is really 64mph. Zero problems. Car handles well. We have had many compliments from non-Prius passengers on interior comfort and ride quality. Amazing car regardless of price. Aug. 2021. Approx. 35000 miles, car says over 68mpg. Zero problems. Aug. 2022. Approx 49000 miles. Car computer says 69.7 mpg. Zero problems. Feb. 2023 Approx 52000 miles. Car computer says 71.3 mpg. Zero problems. Love it more than ever. Feb. 2024 Approx 60000 miles. Car computer says 71 mpg. Zero problems. Can't get better than this. Feb. 2025. Approx 71000. Car computer mileage 69+. An unbelievable car: the best. August 2025. Approx. 76000 miles. Car computer mileage still 69+ overall. Solid car.

Love my new Prius
This car replaced my thirteen-year-old Prius. This car drives like a dream gets better gas mileage and is very sporty looking. I found that by going to a dealer somewhat out of my area gave me a better deal.

would not have bought this.....
Except some idiot totaled out my 2014Prius C. I am an independent contract medical courier and dive 60-70,000 miles a year. My 2014 had 266,000 trouble free miles on it and the auto shop said it was in perfect condition for another 150,000 miles. So.......I replaced it with a comparable 2018 Prius C. I feel like I have my old friend back.....better styling, certainly. Better rear visibility as well as a back up camera. Perhaps maybe a tad better gas mileage, though it is too soon to tell. Reviews by driver editors aren’t driving their vehicles 10 hours a day, 5 days a week in Las Vegas traffic and heading out of town or to the mountains on their days off. Yes, it is a little underpowered driving up to 12,000 feet to go skiing. My Jeep would have more power, getting 12 MPG doing it. Cheap plastic interior? Sure, and a bazillion little holding spots for coffee cups, water bottles, garage door opener, change holders, cell phone, scanner and hand help GPS, sunglasses, spare sunglasses, etc. And huge door pockets and glove box. Ideal vehicle for someone that drives distances loves economy and does all preventive maintenance. Looking forward to half a million mile club.
