The 2021 Toyota Highlander works great. I would still like more leg room for taller people. Toyota Corp. very helpfull, getting my title after I sent in my payoff, I would rate a 1 out of 10. Tom Pappas dealership, I woul rate a 1 out of 10. Dealing with a mechanical problem

Can't wait for lease end

2021 Toyota Highlander XLE 4dr SUV AWD (3.5L 6cyl 8A)

This SUV hasn't had any mechanical or electrical issues and has been a decent, reliable car. Notwithstanding, it drives like a boat; that is, the steering and suspension are mushy. Additionally, the interior features such as the window arm rests and center console are rather hard; not an issue for short hops, but on long trips it gets quite uncomfortable. I would not acquire this model again.

Useless 3rd Row

2021 Toyota Highlander Platinum 4dr SUV AWD (3.5L 6cyl 8A)

We purchased a 2021 Highlander Platinum AWD Hybrid. Worst mistake of our life!! The third row is useless. Our small children sat with their knees in their chin. We cut our losses and traded it 23 days after purchasing new. Value was horrible at trade, but did what we had to do.

Great Family SUV

Awesome family SUV. If you are looking for a family SUV without breaking your wallet in gas, and car insurance, you need to look at the Toyota Highlander. I recommend the XLE model since it comes with faux leather seats that are easy to clean. 2021 model comes with the same Powertrain from 2019 model, but the suspension has been updated and is much smoother. If you want an SUV that will last for longer than 200k miles you need to consider this model. We have three children and this SUV fits all car seats perfectly. "Car Care Nut" in you tube has great info about this model as well.

We just finished a road trip and it is a very comfortable car to travel in. There are so many settings to learn that it is an ongoing process. We finally got the foot opening of the tailgate figured out, We learn another trick every trip. This is a very polished and refined auto, and we are very pleased with the performance and reliability. If you need the third seat it is there but we usually just have it configured for cargo. The Android Auto works well and we usually have it on Waze when traveling and the screen is nice and large and the audio is great. Year two finds us still very satisfied. The car has been back to the dealer for several services to address covered issues. One was a noise that was addressed with an updated bracket for the radiator. The other was an electronic issue that we did not see any issue with but needed to be addressed. We have had all the regular maintenance covered by a service package that was included in the purchase price that we did not pay for. We purchased this vehicle through a great purchase service company we have used for over 20 years, Great price and no haggling, plus a national search for the vehicle with the features we wanted.
