a dream drive
Traded in my prius after I got into an accident and decided to go bigger, and after much research: tada : highlander. It was the perfect car that was not too big, and not too small. And with the addition of the plus package, perfect for the budget. Out here in CA, you can pretty much get this for about 30k or so before TTL. I think it's a pretty good bargain comparing the other choices out there. Mind you, the RX 350 has no 3rd row. People say it is for kids, but for short trips, it's definitely ok. For long trips, still possible, but you'd probably need to do some rotation. Plenty of cargo room. Very quiet ride. V6 is thirsty for gas, but very powerful for moving around on highway.
Great Family Vehicle!
I had been reading reviews on the highlander before purchasing the truck , I am happy to say that we picked the right vehicle. It drives very smooth, the middle seats are reclinable for extra comfort. I can perfectly fit 3 car seats. I live in Texas and weather is very hot and humid so I love that it has AC vents for everybody in the truck, plus its own rear AC. Cons: It has a small cargo space

ToyoHigh
Bought the Highlander with 6000 miles and now it hs 105000. I have had only one issue and that was a part on the front passenger seat. Other than that it has been one of my favorite Toyota products that I have owned. Limited models have most everything one would want. However, one would think that Toyota would add power to the adjustable steering wheel. Also, the rear view camera has no lines to indicate how close the car is to an obstruction. Other than that I have really enjoyed the car and would buy another Highlander.

Great Vehicle
Rides nice, good gas mileage (21 mpg) combined, plenty of room, quiet, good acceleration. I definitely recommend this vehicle.

Toyota doesn’t honor warranty.
Rear hatch malfunctioned. Toyota put in a faulty part, then sent us to a body shop at our expense $800. Extended warranty not honoured. So much for Toyota reliability, which is why I bought it. Consumer reports are you listening?
