Grand Highlander Limited Hy
My Grand Highlander Limited Hybrid, while not perfect is a suitable family suv. First the positives. The acceleration is more than adequate. The ride is comfortable. Miles per gallon while not up to rated specs is good with regular gas. I believe I am getting 25 mpg. I will need to monitor this more closely. The vehicle’s exterior is stylish. The interior looks very nice as well. Electronics including the screen is quite nice. Toyotas have a reputation for reliability and the Grand Highlander should prove to be quite reliable. Only time will tell. Now the negatives. I find the seats are too soft and non supportive. My friend has a Murano that is several years old, and his seats are way more comfortable. There is no front bumper, just a large and expensive plastic grill that is likely to be damaged when a careless driver parks in front of me. Cargo room is adequate but roof to base distance is disappointing. I could fit a trash can in my 2011 RAV but it won’t fit in my Grand Highlander, which is a larger vehicle. This is because the spare takes up room in the interior. My RAV had the spare attached to the exterior of the cargo door which admittedly looked less than perfect. An additional negative is the price which is higher than it should be. Finally, the turbo unit is not covered under the warranty. It has the same status as windshield wiper blades and brake pads. So, if your turbo needs repair or replacement even in the first month of use due to no fault of the owner, it’s just not covered. And you can rest assured it will be expensive. In summary, if you are looking for a reliable, stylish, smooth riding suv with good acceleration the Grand Highlander Hybrid might be just what you are looking for. Be prepared to pay extra for legendary Toyota reliability.

Pilot replacement with better features.
We purchased the Hybrid Limited trim and it has everything we need. My wife really wanted the bench seat in the middle, which can be a little harder to move, however gives you the ability to fit 3 adults in the middle. The only complaint at this point is the seal for the panoramic moonroof, which is sticking up on the passenger side front corner.

Switched from truck to suv and love this machine
Excellent ride and features. Have the standard hybrid and Gas mileage has been mostly in the 38 range for my commute
Great Ride
Love the Grand Highlander. Nice ride, very comfortable. The only downside is the 7” dash. After having the 12” on the Bronze Edition Highlander I miss it. But if I hadn’t had the 12” before I would not even have noticed. Quite lots of room. Love large glass roof. Great mileage.
Beautiful vehicle!
Pricey, but this Toyota drives like a Lexus! Love the large touchscreen too!
