A surprise 'sports car'

I've always had a sports car(Volvo P1800,RX7,CRX)in addition to our primary vehicle, so I was not too keen on replacing such with a 5 passenger economy car. What a surprise our 2004 Toyota Corolla has been--it's a ball to drive! I miss the gutsy engine sound of yore, but accelleration and handling are on par with the Honda CRX Si. Plus I can now take 3 passengers along. All the emphasis on 'fun cars' nowadays is on overpowered premium fuel burners. If you're looking for a practical 'pocket rocket' check out this car. Note: I had to special order to get LX with 5 speed manual. Only the LX comes with height adjustable driver's seat--which I found neccessary.

A QUALITY,RELIABLE VEHICLE. WHEN YOU ARE DRIVING 70 MPH IT SEEMS LIKE 50. THE COST LETS YOU ADD ALL THE OPTIONS YOU COULDNT ACTUALLY AFFORD. ITS STEERING RESPONSE IS VERY GOOD. FUN TO DRIVE.

A little luxury car...

Considered owning Subaru Forester, couldn't justify spending 23K and up, even though AWD is great. Chose Corolla because it fits my budget, had more comfortable ride & felt more luxurious than Civic. Automatic plenty peppy, but engine quite noisy under hard accelaration. Otherwise pretty quiet in the cabin. Workmanship is superb - you feel like a million bucks - no rattles, loose panels - everything works like a charm. The 6-speaker CD/Radio/Cassette system is superb. Got this baby at dealer invoice but worth every penny even at MSRP.

My First Toyota, a 2004 Corolla CE. I LOVE it. Very Nice Driving Experience. Very Responsive and Quick Engine and Acceleration. Quiet and Smooth Ride. Steering and Handling Effortless. CD and Radio Excellent Sounding. A Quality Built car. I am Always finding Excuses to take a Ride Now. A Little more leg room for the driver who has longer legs than mine would be a nice upgrade. I will always look at Toyota's first in the future. I also had a very Nice experience when purchasing this Corolla. The sales woman was patient and very knowledgeable.
