This is my 7th Toyota. We also own a Highlander, our third one. The 2018 Camry LXE Hybrid is a great car but the Entire 3.0 system is a disaster. The GPS is terrible. It uses up your Cellular Data Plan. This vehicle needs a good static based GPS or Apple Car Play. The dealer told me it would be upgraded to Apple car Play. He lied to us. Very disappointed about that. Otherwise I love the car. Mileage is NOT 40+ miles to the gallon in the city. More like 36 or 37 mpg.

What I don't like is so far the navigation used two times we went to the destination and then she keeps trying to get us to go back after we have been there and left. you have to go in and delete the destination for her to shut up.

Not what you are used to from Toyota. Amazing MPG, actually sporty looking, normal size Camry trunk size, does not feel cheap inside. Simply amazing technology that enhances your safety, updates the GPS MAPS, and is surprisingly quick from a start.

New owner - disappointing MPG

As a new owner I came here looking for answers on why mpg avg is much lower than expected. Driving in eco mode with feather foot, but short commuter distance seems to be problematic. Will try using EV mode more actively. As some suggest it may be a matter of me “learning” how to drive for best results, but that in itself seems strange as this is my second hybrid and I strive for hyper mpg normally anyway.

Smooth and quiet, MPG high up to 48- I am driving in mountainous road. Lots of smart features which I enjoyed to learn and use. The reason I give it a 4 star instead of 5, is that that the head room is somehow small, or due to the windshield or back window design, i feel squeezed. The driver seat scoops my butt and not as comfy as I expected. My butt size is definitely at the smaller side.
