Used 2007 Suzuki Forenza Consumer Reviews
unhappy with car
Ok, so continuing from back in Sept, my car went back in again to the dealer for a 3rd time replacing the transmission sensor for a second time on 10/12/09 and also had a drivers seat ordered as the lumbar is broken. Well to date, no call yet that the seat is in and we are now in December and the car still rides like it has a hesitation. Suzuki rep has decided not to return calls as well. It's no wonder they stopped making this car. They are nothing but junk!! Transmission should have been changed according to other mechanics, but Suzuki doesn't want to honor the warranties!! Rip offs!!
Roomy wagon, check the brake line though
I have 180,000km so far. Lots of interior space. But recently my brake line was basically completely cut because of a design flaw! Just replace them every 75-100,000km and it's probably fine. I even sleep in this wagon by pulling UP on the backseat bum cushion to remove it, allowing the back seats to fold almost flat. I drive like a grandma, so I don't really care about acceleration

Not bad at first
If you notice reading all of these reviews, the recent ones are not good. All of the good reviews are from 2006-2007 when the car is fairly new with not a lot of miles on it. Seems like once it hits the 50,000-60,000 mile range is when things start to go pretty rough. Our front door handles broke off quite early, but they replaced them at the dealership no problem. Just recently the transmission has been slipping and has almost caused a few accidents. I've noticed the tires aren't the greatest either, seems like a pretty uncommon tire size, too. Luckily the car is under warranty, so hopefully I can get the transmission problem fixed soon.

To be nice to other buyers here is a few words, don't buy this car! It will break down on you over and over again! I Bought the extended protection plan and the dealership still cheated me after the transmission went out at 28,000 miles! I called Suzuki of America corp. and they told me I had to pay the dealership fee of 600 dollars to replace parts that were supposed to be covered through the warranty! Here is everything that has gone wrong since i bought this car brand new in 2007. Valve cover seal, cooling fan bolts fell out, continuous oil leak from the oil pressure sending unit, shocks and struts worn out, bent rims, intake induction system seal split before 3000 miles, cup holder.
Will never buy a Suzuki again!
We have had so many problems with this car brand new no miles plastic still on seats when purchased we run the car easy and we have had replaced the tires and an alignment many times and now currently the alignment and struts are bad and we had the car in the shop with $1200 worth of work a couple months ago and still having the same problems over and over again! Have the seat belt recall problem air bag sensors keep messing up and the car's alignment and going through tires is a major issue! I do not recommend buying this car and I will never purchase a Suzuki again!
