Used 2019 Ram 1500 Consumer Reviews
love hate relationship
when i purchased the truck i asked the dealer if it could tow 10k lbs. he said yes. when i went to buy an RV they told me it could only tow 8000 lbs. Apparently I bought the only 5.7L that has a smaller transmission. so needless to say was very upset. However the truck itself is awesome. I have owned all the other brand trucks and this is far my favorite.

So many problems...
Had to replace the back window twice because water kept leaking into the cab. Had to replace two fuel injectors because the cylinders were misfiring. Had intermittent electrical issues where the dash screen said to service shifter and to service park assist sensors. Two dealers were unable to diagnosis the issue or resolve it. This truck only had 54,000 miles on it.
No complaints
I have the 2019 crew cab limited model. Love this truck. I've not had 1 problem yet. I did get an extended warranty because of the scare of lifter problems, exhaust manifold bolts, possible cam problems on the 5.7 hemi but to date 5/24, haven't had any problems. I only have 21k miles and mostly highway. I don't pull heavy loads either so that surely helps. Oil and filter changed every 5 months using mobile 1. Truck rides like a Cadillac and is equipped better than one. It's a beautiful truck. Gas mileage averages 17. I get 23 on the road, not bad considering all the metal surrounding you. It's a safe, good looking very nice vehicle that most luxury cars can't compete with.

Air-ride issues!
First, I want to start saying that I’ve only owed my 2019 Limited 5.7 hemi for about 1 year now and it already has 145k miles on it. With that being said I love this this truck but when It gets cold (10 or below) the front air ride will completely decompress and I’ll come out to find it sitting on the tires. It takes some time running, about 30 mins and then I have to turn it on and off and she’ll usually rise back up l. Other than that I love this truck.

Great truck
I opted for the 6cyl/with hybrid assist and it has been a good choice. Good gas mileage, especially considering the size of the truck. Smooth, solid ride. Exquisite interior and very comfortable. The only drawback is it is a beast to park, lol. Obviously operator error is involved. Update after 4 1/2 years... Still a great truck!

2019 1500 limited
My truck has ONLY 30k miles and the little things that I've had to replace already scares me. I've had to replace both motors in the outside rear view mirrors, the sun visor, the stitching on the dash is coming apart and sunroof is the noisier than any other brand truck I've had..it doesn't leak but very loud wind noise. This truck is wayyy too expensive to be having these kind of issues this early. The 3yr warranty is out for basic repairs.Never had any issues of this sort with my Ford Chevy or Tundra that were ALL less expensive. Any suggestions outside of selling it and never buy another Ram? Other than that I LOVE my ram.. [contact info removed]

Back window leak
The back window frame will crack and that will allow water to leak in. Chrysler will not own it and recall it, dealerships dont want to replace it. It will take forever to get your truck fixed and back on the road. Avoid it, get a chevy, my silverado never leaked, strong truck. 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie 5.7L V8 Crew Cab

All great except factory tires
I was concerned with buying a Ram as I have always had Chevy trucks. This truck is better than most of my Chevy trucks except the design of the Avalanche is the best truck ever. This truck rides great, handles great and love everything, the interior is superb. One negative is I had to put new tires on at 49,000 miles. I researched tires and went with a different brand the they get great traction. The ones from the factory were terrible.
