ROAD NOISE!!!!!!!

Beautiful truck, Love The Styling and the look. Very disappointed in how cheap they are made and the quality. It sounds like the back doors are open!!!!! Took it into the dealer for some warranty work on the back speakers, And to have them check out the road noise issue. Come to find out they have the audio system put noise into the cab to try to drowned out the road noise!!!!! So you don't only hear the road noise but the back speaker sound like they are blown out. Was very saddened by this, Because it is such a beautiful truck.

Overall its a good truck. I went with the 3.6l for fuel economy but will definitely end up switching to the hemi or the eco diesel to make sure I can tow evertyhing that I need to. The quad cab has plenty of room for me with my daugthers car seat. The shifter knob takes some getting used to but isn't horrible. Also the truck doesnt have as much get up and go as id like but i expected that especially because mine doesnt have the eTorque.

I bought my truck new in 2018 . I have the 2019 ram Laramie 1500 with the e-torque. The first day I had a issue with the radio and camera. Which they said they could t fix. Then the check engine lights. Bank 1 keep coming on. Then the miss fire codes, doors locking windows rolling up,and heat turning on high. This all happened in the summer. With the temperatures pushing a Hundred. So back to dodge after letting the truck sit for 9 months. They say its a blown motor. They cant get a new engine or even used. Just to dumb to rebuild it. So i called a junk yard got a new motor with 6000 miles . Getting installed next week for 5500 . Even though im under warranty. So if you want my opion dont buy this truck to many problems. The dealers answer to everything is reset the codes and see if it comes back on. The good is that it is comfortable, smooth , and eye catching. But for almost a year its been a 60000 yard ornaments.

Don't buy one of these, they are worthless. I've got the 10" screen, nice to see but the GPS is completely worthless. It might be able to find the city center of Kansas City, but forget trying to find something more obscure like the Grand Canyon or Mount Rushmore. I searched Mt. Rushmore and the useless thing wanted to route to some town in Mexico. I've had more recalls in 2 months with this lemon than I had in 8 yrs with my F-150. Laramie 5.7 Hemi 5.6 box. Apparently Edmunds doesn't know they made that.

Beware Of Shady Customer and dealer services

My primary key fob for my 2019 Ram Laramie did not work and you need this to open and drive the vehicle due to it having a push button start. I had to use my spare key fob and made an appointment to Lustine Dodge to get this issue looked at. When i arrived there the key fob was working intermittently, the dealership said it looks like you dropped it due to a little tear on the rubber piece. The rubber piece actually tore due to me putting it inside my pants pocket. They and Ram customer said they would not replace it. So when i asked Ram customer service when i get stuck somewhere because the key fob won't work and need it to start the vehicle, they had no answer and told me this was not covered under the 3 year warranty or the 5 year extended warranty. This will be the last time i buy a Ram/Dodge product. I never had any issues with other manufactures. UPDATE STILL IS A PIECE OF JUNK, GETTING A 2022 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro IN DECEMBER.

I've had this truck for a few months and have put 5K miles on it. It has the standard 5.7 Hemi and 8 spd. On the interstate long trips I get around 22 mpg with 3.21 axle. Has plenty of power rides great and I have no problems. I've had a lot of trucks my previous was a 2016 F150 with the 3.5 ecoboost the Ram is not as quick but I think in the long run it will be more reliable.

2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn 5.7 nothing but problems

I was a first time Ram buyer in 12/2018. I bought a new 2019 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi for around 49k. I'm the type of buyer who keeps my vehicles for 10 to 15 years, so I bought the extended warranty. On the 3rd day of ownership the issues started. I had a check engine light which ended up taking three separate visits to the dealership in 2 weeks before they fully replaced the fuel sensors around the fuel tank. My new truck was in the shop for 5 days within 3 weeks of ownership. The next issue was an annoying drone sound while driving. Yet again, I took it to the dealer with this time no fix. So I did some research and discovered a firmware update for the noise cancelling would fix it, so I had the dealership flash it. Issue solved. Around 4 months of ownership, the 8 inch radio console would flash in and out. I also noticed the center control cluster would flash. This was in April of 2020, so the truck was less than 6 months old. I was back at the dealership. While wiping the engine down(I keep all my vehicles clean), I noticed an oil leak coming from the passenger side front spark plug. I discovered this in June 2019, so back to the dealership the get the spark plug seals replaced, yet again another 2 days no truck. In the summer of 2019, my center control cluster would randomly stop working. At this point my Ram only around 8k miles on it. So back to the dealership. Fast forward to November 2019, I noticed a weird grinding when I made mild to sharp turns while on my way to work. In Feb 2020, the plastic guard holding the 4x4 cables broke, so I zip tied it to fix it. Lucky no hoses were damaged. During 2020 the radio would blackout and on 12/21/2020 while cleaning the truck, I noticed the rear window was cracked around the rear sliding windows. The headliner had water damage because of this. I took it to the dealership to fix and by Ram policy they only replaced the glass and tried to clean the headliner. This made the headliner worse. So after going back and forth between the dealership and Ram, they agreed to replace the headliner. During this time the center cluster died. In order to get the headliner done, Ram needed proof of mileage which I could not give because the center cluster was dead. So they had to order the center cluster. This was not early Feb 2021. They replaced the cluster and after yet again another call to Ram they scheduled a headliner replacement. On March 26,2021 while waiting on the headliner replacement, the center cluster started flashing on and off again. While waiting to go into work on a cold morning, I heard a weird flushing sound coming from the passenger side dash which sounded like water. On top of this my radio cluster was still randomly going black, That was it for me, I sold the truck and bought a 2021 F250. I will never buy another Ram based on my experience. This was the worse new vehicle I've ever owned. Yes, it rides great, roomer, and lots of modern gadgets but what good is that if the electrical system is buggy and several quality issues? When I sold my 2019 Ram 1500 it only had a little over 23k miles, so imagine the issues I could of had if I drove a lot.

Truck drives nice and has great features (when they work). Truck seems like its spent more time at the dealer than in my driveway. Seems like a lot of other owners have the same issues as well. Folding mirror issues, Leaking rear windows, weird hum that the dealer can never duplicate, faulty rear sensors cause the auto brake to be applied when no object is behind you, radio issues with volume control, driver window regulator broke 3 weeks into ownership that they couldnt get parts for because the truck was "to new"....... I want my Ford back.
