Crap warranty and busted transmission

Presher, 09/24/2024
2020 Nissan Versa S 4dr Sedan (1.6L 4cyl CVT)

Warranty doesn't cover the transmission going out on a 4 year old car. It has has little mechanical problems since it reach 30,000 miles, now it would be well over cars value to repair transmission.

Eighty thousand clicks and transmission is gone

I just purchased my Nissan versa. And I love it until not even having it for a month My transmission is gone and needs to be replaced... I thought Nissan had fixed this problem from the past, but They haven't. Before I purchased this one I got a 2016 Sentra But I had for not even 3 months. And the transmission blew on that 1 as well.... I will never ever get a nissan again.... And it's sad because I really like this car. And it breaks my heart that at 80000 clicks. I have to replace my transmission which thank God is under warranty..

I got the SR, and it's an excellent value. While some vehicles that have a base model starting at $30,000 can skyrocket up to over $40,000 for the top trim, the Versa manages to keep the top trim reasonably close to the base model. It drives comfortably, gets astounding mileage, and has plenty of safety features and bells and whistles seen on more expensive cars. For cars in this price range, there's nothing that can beat it.

Nice looking, but cheap inside.

Had a brand new rental for two weeks. as time went buy I found the seats uncomfortable. the controls cheaply made, very poor heater. Drove ok, but felt it was a car where they had cut corners. Not one I would consider buying.
