Used 2004 Nissan Titan Consumer Reviews
titan is good
Had bad, ( soft rotors at new ) they fixed that. Transmission slipped at 37K, was some type of switch. The trans. from the beginning of owning it, sometimes when taking off, feels like you took off on a spot of ice, wheels slip for a moment. They don't know what it is. Also, at a light, it feels like someone bangs into you lightly, they say common.

Overall this truck is impressive. Very good off road. We use this truck in the oil & gas field and it is standing up better than any other truck i have used ( ford , dodge, gmc , chev ). The overall handling and power towing is great.

IMPRESSED........SO FAR?
With a limited amount of mileage this is just my initial opion of the truck. Ask me again in six months.
Love the Power
I like the performance from the 5.6L engine. The ride is good for a truck that can tow over 9000 pounds. The kids love the rear seat with there own radio controls and DVD. The track system in the bed makes you wonder why no one came out with this before.
2004 Nissan Titan comments
Tough vehicle, I get lots of admirers. I think it has Ford, Chevy, and Toyota beat on the "macho" scale. This truck sucks down some gas! Had a problem with brakes which Nissan acknowledges with Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) NTB04-066. They did service to the truck but did not replace the rotors as the TSB recommends. Seems to be a temp fix which lasts about 4000 miles. Problem is vibration in steering wheel when pedal is depressed. I expect this problem to return every 4000 miles until they replace the rotors. The truck does stop fine and handles great. Lots of power and roomy cab.
