Used 2000 Nissan Pathfinder Consumer Reviews
Schmied's Review
I haven't had any problems with this car. It's been great and fun. Lot's of power...just be careful make a turn after it just started raining. It's engine is very powerful and you could lose control. Comfortable vehicle.
Great SUV
Great SUV and a great look on the road. Underpowered for 2000, but they fixed that in later years. Rear springs are a bit light for holding anything heavy in the back. Seems to have held it's value VERY well. Especially considering all the rebates we got on it. All in all, a great SUV.

I absolutely love this Pathfinder
I just bought this 2000 LE from my Aunt, I've been loving every second of it. This vehicle has plenty of storage, versatility, and luxury features. It's loaded with everything they had at that time. Even with 153,000 miles it still sounds brand new, and no one believes me when I tell them that it has that many miles.
Needs more power
Very nice vehicle. I tow two snowmobiles up to the mountains in New hampshire and there are many times when I wish I had a more powerful engine. Nissan addresed this problem with a 3.5 ltr. engine in newer models.
1999.5 One of the Few
We bought this new in 1999 and the models ran out, so Nissan created a 1999.5 with a brochure and everything, but it is a 2000 model SE with the 16 inch wheels. It's gold and with the pipe step racks. Never had any serious repairs, i.e. no timing belts, struts, etc. Change the oil every 5000 miles with the filter and purchased new tires only once in 77,000 miles. Great room in the back and seats 5 comfortably. Extremely comfortable inside and not as big overall as the new ones that look and drive like tanks. The mileage is 18 to 20 on the highway, but 16 around town, but regular gas. It's been a great SUV with a Bose system thrown in when we bought it at no charge.
