Used 2004 Nissan Murano Consumer Reviews
1500 Miles problems already
I have 1500 miles on my Murano and four problems already! A pillar is rattling, drivers seat shifts during acel/decel, gas door actuator buzzing, alignment off. Took it back to the dealer and they can only fix 2 of the four problems. Technical service bulltins were given to them and still they can't duplicate the problem. Nissan/Infiniti has lost a customer for life. This car has alot of stupid little problems.
Enjoying our 19th Datsun/Nissan
The Murano is our 19th Nissan and is the best to date in the non-sports category (we thoroughly enjoyed our 280Z and 280ZX). Living in the North, we need a 4 season car and this is the best blend I've seen and the best value in it's class. I've read some slight negatives from some writers, but I personally vote the Murano "Two Thumbs Up."

Getting disappointed
Was great from the start, great seat comfort, great handling, decent mileage, only problem was rattles all over. Nissan used cheap plastic materials. At 50,000 the front suspension began to have problems. First the right wheel bearings, axle, and tie rod had to be replaced. Now at 62,000 the same issues with the front left side. All issues with suspension are in the front. Murano rides hard, maybe this causes excessive wear on front suspension, still no excuse for this. Also front and rear motor mounts, dealer says need to be replaced, private mechanic says no. They cost $1000 to replace! No excuse for these problems on car with only 62,000 miles. Dealer uses hard sell to push service.
nightmare
this car will cost alot in repairs one thing after anothe the Nissa corp should be ashamed of themselves it was poorly made i would not reccomend this vehicle to another buyet
