Better than a Tacoma
I have owned Nissan trucks in the past and Nissan has really hit a grand slam with this Frontier. The truck has awesome power, great torque, a solid yet comfortable ride, great styling inside and out and decent fuel mileage (If driven conservatively).

2010 SE long bed 4 door 2wd
Bought new in 2010 have been pleased with truck. It was difficult at the time to find a long bed 4 door and I bought the only one that was available in Puget Sound. The dealer was having a hard time selling the truck because of the bright red color and he said that people didn't like the long beds. A few years later people were looking for the long beds with the 4 doors and red colors got more popular. I drove it from west coast to east coast with full load in bed. Worked flawlessly. It had plenty of power to keep up with the speed limit every where I go, good acceleration. The seats were comfortable. The tie downs in bed really work well. I put a canvas topper on it for the trip. I don't put many miles on it except for trips to hardware store or occasional load to kids house. 32000 on it since new as of OCT 2018. It is not the most economical vehicle out there but it does the job with a fair amount of comfort. The only really issue is the wide turning radius that takes some getting used to. I picked the truck because it had good reviews at the time and the price was excellent. I have had many truck over the years and was looking to downsize to the midsize truck at the time. I own a couple of Toyota suv's but didn't think the Toyota Tacoma was worth the extra cost over this truck.

Better Get One !!
This Is my 6th Nissan Truck. I have had a 1990, 1997, 2002, 2006,2007,2010. All the trucks were very good in every way. The 2010 has gobs of power. I have always had the 4 cy till know. I like the 6 cy but if gas goes up a lot I would likely go back to the 4cy. I like the manuel trans. I have had in on all my Nissans. Truck is quality inside and out.
poor dealer and home office support
Both rear axles failed. Around 60k miles. The replacement axles were different telling us the originals were defective. Big runaround from local dealers.Went to personal mechanic and paid $1,500 for new replacements. Dealer wanted $2,000+. The same mechanic just completed another replacement with the same year Frontier. This owner also had bad service. When I took it to the dealer we assumed a bearing and seal replacement. Then when they tore it apart they stalled telling us they did not have the parts although they told us they did when the appointment were made. Even smells bad. They told us that they would not offer any financial support because we used a private mechanic. I will get my financial support by "NEVER BUYING ANOTHER NISSIAN". I think I am even. GO TOYOTA.
