Used 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQB Consumer Reviews
Not worth buying. Too many better options
Let me start by saying that the car cost 💲 67000 and a charging plug is not included. Halfway home from the dealership I stopped at a friends house to show off the car and get some charge on the battery and there is no charger in the trunk. I call the dealership and they tell me that a charger is not included with the car. I couldn’t believe it. There are too many other options.

Offers very little for the price
We test drove the EQB 300 for a good 4 hours with the intent to buy. At the end of the test we decided not to proceed. The good: 1. Very well built and a solid feel. 2. Good acceleration despite a heavy car. 3. Braking was excellent. The bad: 1. After about 5 miles it was disturbing to see 1/8 of the charge wiped out. We had the AC on in a hot day, but we are in Texas so… 2. Clumsy infotainment system with no intuitive interface. 3. The seats are not as comfortable as my wife’s previous GLS. The ugly: 1. We tested the system’s recommendations for a charging station. The first led us to an apartment complex with a gated entry, the second was a parking lot of a hospital but no charger to be seen, the third was a gas station. Three failures was too much for us. Imagine if the battery is low and the system plays so poorly. The dealer representative told us to do the search on our phone and indeed we were successful. But then, what good is the information system that is built in.

Looks and drives great, and it’s a Benz
Bought a 4matic EQB 350 a few weeks ago after driving a gas powered C300 (and loving it) for years. While the range isn’t the best you can get these days, it gets me around town, to and from work, and to the mountains for skiing and hiking. Have not been worried about running out of power, not even close. The interior is really nice and the tech from Mercedes has really improved. The styling is more functional than radical, but it does look great in person, and has way more space than all those other EV SUVs that are less like SUVs and more like sloped back hatchbacks. It also handles like a Benz, which is a big improvement over other EVs I’ve driven (Tesla, Hyundai, and Mach-Es among others). Overall, loving this car so far. Zero complaints. Very fun and comfortable to drive!

Fun to drive, that’s about it.
We test drove this and then ended up with it after my “other” MB purchase went to the service dept. for “cosmetics”… We had the EQB 250+ for a week. My takeaway is this: Solid MB with great road manners and excellent brakes. Why this is a 60k SUV is beyond me. Materials are all good quality but just not a standout. Seats are fairly comfortable and sturdy , but rather hard, and on the smaller side. Ride is on the firmer side with good stable control, EQB feels solid, again so do most cars that are new, no big deal. But this really feels abbreviated everywhere when it comes to scale. Great single owner vehicle, two people, not so much. I am not a big guy, but the passenger and you will rub elbows on a very small center console. Road noise is fairly pronounced for an all electric vehicle. Sound system is Hyundai quality, plenty of booming base, little else when it comes to fader/treble experience. Really disappointed in the overall exterior (and interior design)…it’s really U.K. in the 60s cab look. Overall, it’s a miss.
