Purchased in November of 2009 after selling my 2006 BMW 550. MB has finally figured out how to build the driving dynamics of a BMW and package it with a world class drive train and engine. Over the top insanity when you hit the gas and throw the car into a corner. Bottom line the best overall high performance sedan on the market!

Recently purchased a Pre own model with 49K. Replaced a few parts via Warranty(suggested). Dealership at Mercedes Benz of Greenway in Houston Texas has been more than exemplary. The performance and amenities definitely Mercedes-Benz. As they say nothing but the best. Update: The car is still performing like a Champion true Mercedes-Benz and its operating cost is extremely low. The performance and the ride still remained true to form. Already doing research on my next E350 I think it's going to be the convertible it's so sweet.

Exetremely Disappointing

The front brakes had to be replaced at 24K miles. At 40K miles the back brakes had to be replaced. Prior to this, I drove a Lexus for 60K miles before the brakes needed to be replaced. We will be going back to Lexus and I hope I never live long enough that I am forced to purchase another Mercedes-Benz. Dealers have only been marginally helpful and say this is reasonable wear - might be but isn't for a Lexus.

Not up to M-B's reputation. Nice enough car; ride is not good at low speeds over any road imperfections. Nice at highway speeds. Per M-B and dealer, this is normal. Have to accelerate more going up hill, etc. due to inadequate engine which causes more fuel use. Lumbar is hard to adjust. Hood release hard to find. Underside of parcel shelf in trunk is not covered. Have to jerk spare tire cover out and force it back in. Wiper control hidden by steering sheel spoke making it easy to leave in auto mode. Results in wiper damage in car washes. Carpet and mats are thin compared to even medium priced competitors. Storage box on front of front seats hits back of legs. Interior is well done.
