Used 2005 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Consumer Reviews
Fantastic Car
We have had for one month. Combination of city (DC-Baltimore) and highway (I95) driving. Fun to drive, fuel economy is fantastic. This is our 2nd Mercedes and we love it.
a geat car
I have owned, in the past, BMW M3 and 540i, MB S500, etc. By far, this is my favorite car. Great balance of performance, luxury, size, and it is beautiful. I believe that the time of 5.8 seconds of 0-60 is accurate. The cornering ability, with maximum stiffness of suspension, rivals the BMWs. The fun factor is the tops. All in all, my favorite car of all times.

CLK + S Class = E500
After facing the prospect of a second set of tires on my 2002 CLK430 in less than 20,000 miles, I took a test drive in an E500. I couldn't believe how quiet, powerful and luxurious it was. Less than two hours later, I was driving my new E500 home. From the 6CD Bose sound system, to the adjustable suspension, each drive reinforces the fact that this is by far, the best car I've ever owned. Negatives are few, but I really don't like the gas/temp gauges. The car is the best looking in its class, but I would recommend black, looks great from any angle!
MB E320 CDI
We had a 2002 Mercedes C230 prior to this vehicle and it was wonderful. However, after having a child we decided that we needed a larger car. We looked at all of the different models of the E-Class and decided after driving all and talking with our sales rep that the 2005 E320 CDI was our best option. We haven't regreted it one moment.
What's missing from this car? Not much.
Apart from having a few too many options for being an MB, this car is otherwise perfect. 369 ft/lbs torque at 1800rpm... 0-60 in 6.6 (I timed it twice).. and passing power like the best sports cars I've driven. All with 37mpg (observed by me). Built like a tank, safest sedan sold in the US (IIHS Study).. Mercedes Benz build quality and materials..
