Used 1994 Mazda MX-5 Miata Consumer Reviews
Cannot be beat for the money!!
I have a black Miata with tan interior leather with the Nardi stick shifter. I was moving to Florida and wanted a weekend car. My first choice was a MR2, but no luck on one in good condition. My brother had a 91 with 170000 miles with no problems so I bought one. I have not done any major work in 6 years. Only oil changes, put synthetic gear fluid and a set of plugs and air filter. I did have to replace the top but for 560 dollars including labor you can't beat. I am running Mobil 1 synthetic and I get 31 MPG and tha'ts with the air running half the time. Anyone looking for an inexpensive convertible and does not mind go-cart type ride and handling then this is the car for you.
...and the Mazda goes, "Hmmm."
Maybe pre-mature - I've owned this car for only 9 months - but I have enjoyed every trouble free moment I've had it. Very impressed that an almost 16 year old car drives as well and feels as tight as this one does. I bought it with less than 80000 miles so it's been gently used over the years. When I was a kid in high school and college I had a couple of MGB's and loved 'em, but they were troublesome and unreliable. So when I set out to get another roadster to recapture the fun of open air driving I just had to get a 1st generation Miata. I get not only the fun, but the trouble free reliability as well. Having the both together is almost too good to believe.

Great Little Roadster
This is my summer car. Fun car to drive, even for a teenager! I'm 18 years old, and I just love driving the car. Great manual transmission, short throws. Great handling, near 50-50 weight, Great turning car. Get good MPG with the 1.8L
It's a blast to drive
Hands down, the most fun that can be had in a car for under $30k.
Fun Fun Fun
Put the top drop and enjoy your ride, handles great, you really feel the road.I love it.
