Fun to drive, comfortable... concerned

Cool to drive. Many compliments on the Mazda6 sports package style. Good handling & comfortable. Trunk has good amount of space. My Mazda6 has good acceleration when in the higher gears. At times feels as if transmission is trying to catch up, especially in the slapstick manual mode. My concern is how much quality the transmission has. I have had problems changing gears in both the manual and auto modes. I can't tell yet if it is me getting used to the sportamatic or if there is actually is a problem. Still a great car.

Worst car I ever owned. Pre-catalyst problems. I had to replace it twice - very expensive. Engine problems - throttle body replaced. Expensive as well. Broken power steering - expensive as hell. Broken CD-player. Poor A/C. Broken seat heating. Almost everything in this car breaks all the time.

Hot hatch levels of performance in sedan

This car is amazing. Sure, some of the car's interior feels cheap, and the comfort levels could be better, but remember this car was cheaper than all its rivals, yet drove even better. Performance is fantastic from the 220 bhp 3.0 V6 engine, sometimes you don't realize exactly how fast you're going. A complaint would be that the manual mode is jerky and dim-witted, and doesn't auto blip on the down shifts. Both down shifts and up shifts aren't instantaneous. Fuel economy is atrocious. Granted, I drive in a "spirited" manner, but i only average 17.4 mpg. I recommend the 4 cylinder model, that car weighs less, gets better mpg, and probably handles better. In short, it's great, buy it.
