2021 Lincoln Navigator Reserve 4dr SUV 4WD (3.5L 6cyl Turbo 10A)

After owning two previous versions of the Navigator (2008 and 2014), I decided to continue my allegiance and trust on the more recent Navigators that I really wanted to upgrade my 2014 Navigator. The current model looks so pleasing to the eyes and all the "hype" from advertisements about the new Navigators, I purchased a used 2021 "Reserve" with 35K miles. The first week driving the vehicle, I have already experienced several serious issues with the vehicle...too many to write down here..I also find that the interior cabin description dished out by dealers and media hype paid by the manufacturer are FALSE and deceiving. Cheap materials, Cheap leather, cheap plastic chrome, ordinary steering wheel for a 80/90K/100K vehicle. My 2014 Navigator was a much better built vehicle inside and out. Sadly I have only driven this junk for only a week...Took it to the dealer to address all the issues. TWO weeks in the shop and still under repairs... Tip for other buyers..do your homework...research NHTSA for recalls, search the web for other owners who have experienced concerning issues with this vehicle, check the VIN for past issues; Use car websites for detailed history report. Use the Lincoln website for VIN history...TEST DRIVE, have a mechanic check the vehicle thorougly if buying used...

Tech outdated but by far best interior quality

I love the lushness of the leather and carpet and tech is adequate but it’s horrible compared to the Escalade, GLS, and X7. But overall the quality makes up for the outdated tech (which once again is okay but it just aged pretty poorly in the timeframe from when the Aviator and Navigator were released.) The seats a very comfortable, and the second row has a very executive style feel, and the ventilated seats are some of the best I’ve ever tried. I read some of the reviews and it simply depends on what dealer it is. My dealer (Lincoln of Bloomington) has been very good to us and has treated us like family. It’s very unfortunate that that’s not everyone’s experience but it is what it is. Also it seems like a lot of the reviews aren’t even for the 2021 model year and mostly for the 2020 model year. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize that the Navigator will be refreshed next year and will fix a lot of the things such as tech and features that lesser Lincoln models have but their “flagship” suv doesn’t have. I would buy it again except I would wait until it’s fully redesigned and electric next time. If your thinking about getting a 21’ wait until 22’ since a lot of the bugs it seems like will be smoothed out.

Better than even expected!

2022 Lincoln Navigator Black Label 4dr SUV 4WD (3.5L 6cyl Turbo 10A)

This is our 4th Navigator in 17 years...and every one of them has been great. Just picked up a 2022 Black Label...last one in stock for 2022 most likely...and couldnt be happier! Just sitting in this SUV, you know it's special...from the quality of the leather...the feel of the controls...and the technology which is head and shoulders past that of German and Japanese luxury SUVs. We looked at the Lexus LX600, and although the Lexus is about the same length, the amount of room in the Lincoln is far greater and the interior itself is more airy. We have the Yacht Club theme (light blue) which looks 10x better in person than online...it is truly unique. We traded our 2020 Aviator Black Label which was a great vehicle as well...but the extra room in the 3rd row of the Navigator is adult-sized and highly recommended if you are carrying 3+ teenagers, as we do regularly. Sometimes, there is just no substitution for a full-size American SUV. The subtle changes to the front and rear of the Nav for 2022 really improve things..and compared to the GM offerings, the front end is not as high. Great new features for 2022 as well...Active Glide handsfree highway driving and massage seats in the 2nd row buckets!! We were able to find a rather unique option on our Nav, the 2nd row console delete. Having a walk-thru in the 2nd row was something we lacked in the Aviator and it just makes getting to the 3rd row so much easier. Looking forward to first long trip after breaking it in!

The extra room in the back is perfect for our family. Lots of room so we can load up for road trips! It is very comfortable and my favorite luxury feature are the massaging seats!

After 37,000 miles I started having problems with the center screen. It would shut off intermittently and not turn back on. Other than that I had 0 problems, other than the stiff suspension. I replaced the 22 inch wheels with factory 20 inch, and it totally changed the ride for the better. Very luxurious and the 30 way seats are the most comfortable I have ever ridden in. Traded it for a 2023 Yukon Denali, which rides much better and has more room.
