Worst car design in the history of cars!

The Lincoln MKZ has to be the worst car design in the history of cars. The best thing I can say about mine is that the seats are comfortable. And that is where the accolades end. For starters, visibility, both front and rear are horrible. I have run over curbs, parking blocks, even a concrete wall (in the rain) BECAUSE I DIDN'T SEE THEM. In 8 months I have blown two tires while I have never blown a tire before in 50 years of driving. If the visibility issues aren't bad enough, the list of standard features are ridiculous! I can't turn off the auto lock feature of the power door locks? Unacceptable. I shouldn't need the car's permission to open the doors. Lane departure warning? If departing the lane doesn't cause an accident, this feature likely will. Vibrating steering wheel, flashing warning lights, beeps and etc. are all alarming and usually unjustified features of this car. When I back out of my driveway I get a warning for 30 seconds because there is a mail box on a pole next to the driveway. And all of the above is the good news! I tried to give the car back to the dealer the day after I got it home because I went to get gas and the car's keyless feature is RFID sensitive so the (Walmart) gas station's signal prevented me from starting the engine or putting it in gear. And speaking of "gear", you can't turn on the radio, the heater, or anything else until you put the car in gear. Who the heck thought up all of this nonsense? Fortunately for me, I am the proud owner of a 2004 Lincoln Town Car. I consider these old Town Cars to be among the best designed cars ever made. They get great gas mileage and have NONE of the ridiculous nonsense featured on these later model Lincolns and the visibility in all directions is excellent. Speaking of ridiculous nonsense, who had the bright idea to put low profile tires on a luxury car? It rides like truck over bumps. And worse, the jack won't fit under the car to replace a flat tire because the tires are so short. I have to keep a board in the trunk to drive the flat tire up on in order to get the jack under the car. And speaking of jack, where the heck does it go under the car? Good luck finding a place. Especially in the dark! Oh, and last but not least, who ever heard of a 4-cylinder car getting 13 -16 mpg? Anyone who has owned an MKZ, that's who! My Town Car is a 4.6L V-8 and gets much better gas mileage.

Purchased my leased MKZ from dealer. I await an electric vehicle but hate to let my MKZ go. It's an absolutely wonderful car!
