47,500 Miles Problem Free So Far
I've had my car since Nov 06. The only thing I've had to replace are the tires @ 45k miles and a $7 battery for my key fob. I'm planning to take the car in for the wind noise, rattling and hesitation before my warranty expires. Service on the car is expensive, but that's to be expected. Oil changes are just under $80, 45k service is $240, 50k is $320 and 90k is $1,160 (DC area). If this car last me 20 years it will be well worth the $70+ it cost. My 1996 ES is still running after 216k miles. I love this car so I hope it continues to meet my expectations.
2007 LS460L - Expensive Maintenance
I brought this car with 80k miles. It now has 110,000 miles and is probably worth about $11,000. In the last 3 months, I have had to spend over $7,000 in maintenance and repairs. I have had the car for 2.5 years and I am on my third set of tires. I bought this car because I thought it would be reliable and low maintenance...definitely not the case. Save your money and buy something else.

Excellent
This car grew on me more and more. Extremely reliable and comfortable. It will be hard to drive anything else.

Unhappy owner
This is the third LS I have owned. I have had 2 LS 430s and loved them. I just purchased the LS 460 and am so disappointed. I am getting about 10.8 miles in city driving and I don't drive hard or fast. The wind noise is terrible at highway speeds. Have had electrical problems. Car has been a nightmare.
Some design flaws
I have owned 5 Lexus. 1st was 1990. The best was last model of the 430. The new model has the following flaws, 1) Seat comfort is not the same as previous. 2) The rear view window is not large enough an one suffers from not having the same visibility as previous models. 3) The trunk is smaller due to the larger indented wheel wells that result in loss of space. 4) The design doesn't say, distinctive or luxury... instead it says, "this is a pregnant Camry."
