Mostly great
This is my 6th Lexus ES and I have been very happy with all of them. I have never had a problem with any of them. I recently bought a 2023 ES Ultra Luxury and almost everything is impressive with 2 exceptions. You can't use voice commands to access music on a USB. On previous Lexuses it worked great. By not allowing voice commands for the USB they created a very dangerous situation. If I want to change to another artist I have to use touch commands which means I have to move my eyes from the driving to the touch screen. NOT GOOD! The other issue is with the navigation. There is no way for me to put a name on a favorite destination if it was created by providing an address. For example if I create a destination for a distant relative by entering 123 Some Street, Some City, & Some State. The favorite will name the favorite '123 Some Street' and there is no way to update it. It would be much easier to remember the destination if I could name it 'Uncle Joe' rather than trying to remember the house number & street. So far these are the only 2 problems I've encountered. By the way these were not an issue on my previous ES (2018 Luxury). For some reason Lexus went backwards. Other than these issues the car is very nice. Beautiful looking, great ride, quiet, etc. I love all the safety features.

Best Value Luxury Sedan
Dollar for dollar the ES 350 is the best midsize luxury sedan you can buy for the money. It's comfortable, quiet, smooth, and engaging. We purchased one with the premium package and larger tech screen. BMW and Audi might be more fun to drive but won't last as long as the Lexus. Not to mention, it takes regular gas and gets overall good gas mileage. Also, has good IIHS and NHTSA crash test results.

Very good car
I have owned my 2023 ES 350 Luxury for about 2 months. It is smooth, quiet and respectably quick when called upon. Very good and unobtrusive climate control system. It is a pleasure to drive. Took a 350 mile highway trip, and i got an astounding 40 mpg! And this is from a V6! I am somewhat disappointed with the Mark Levinson sound system in my vehicle. Lossless music played through a USB stick is clear and accurate, but it tends toward the bright side with a clinical tonal quality. The ML sound system pales in comparison to the ELS 5.1 sound system that I had in a 2014 Acura TL. 3/2024. 9 months later, zero issues. I will reiterate that it is a pleasure to drive for both short and long trips. My only wish - a CD player.

Very sharp looking
I have had my 2022 black Lexus ES 350 for a couple of months now. It drives smooth and is good on gas on the road. It has a snazzy premium look. I love it!

2023 Ultra Luxery
I wanted something more powerful and smooth. I looked at all luxury models and found out all cars are not the same. I am tall so had to go mid size for comfort. I have the loaded car and paid 57000 ish all other luxury cars were at least 10000-20000 more all other cars took premium gas mandatory. The ride is amazing the comfort is awesome the car is quite. The reason I did not go to sport edition was the seats have back issues. It was hard to find the car I wanted but I waited and pounced when it was available.

Lexus ES 350 build quality got worse the pandemic
I bought a Lexus during the pandemic, and noticed the build quality has dropped quite a bit (i.e. annoying wind noise issue at speeds over 45 mph, dashboard, etc.) and when these issues are reported to Lexus, their quality control, customer engagement and service don't do anything to fix it and let these issues go directly to customers. If you plan to buy a new Lexus, probably it's a good idea to hold on to your old models since they are far more reliable than the newer models after 2020 or explore other brands.
