Fell in love with the car when it was introduced at the Chicago autoshow and it's living up to my expectations. Quality of materials used is excellent and the ride is superior to anything I test drove. This is the complete package - power, luxury and realability. I'm 6'4" and fit very comfortable as do my rear passengers.

Having had 2 Lexus automobiles previously (both ES 300s, one a 2000 and the other a 2003) THIS 2007 KNOCKED MY SOCKS OFF. The styling, the comfort, the ease of driving, the fun of driving are not enough superlatives to describe this car. I have the ultra luxury package which was more pricey, but the additional cost was well worth it. The air, the upholstery, the back up camera, the rotating headlights, the nav system and the sound system are incredible. This car is everything I expected and then some. BRAVO LEXUS.

If you can bond with the extra light front wheel drive steering you will love this car. It is quiet, powerful, smooth, and has comfortable seats both front and rear. The gauges are easy to read. We just returned from a 2400 mile trip and averaged 32.69 miles per gallon. The only problem is that the CD player is not working properly. While not a "driver's car", It is a great driving vehicle. I would highly recommend it.

Purchased the Ultimate Luxury Package - even though packed with features the car remains intuitive to operate and is VERY easy to drive - performance better than anticipated but performance is not a reason to purchase. The quality is excellent - used for commuting. Can't get over the quality. Only one nagging issue - I am 6'2" and am VERY close to the roof panels, even though I purchased the panoramic roof for the extra clearance - drivers over 6'1" beware and make sure that you are comfortable with the head room - vision at stop lights can be limited.

For more than a month I researched and test drove 5 different competition sedans before deciding on the ES 350. I've had the car almost 3 months now, the car is very smooth to drive and there's a lot of room. Very comfortable and fun to drive. With all the standard equipments and options, it's priced much less than it's European counterparts. And of course it's a Toyota which only means it's going to live longer.

It is a wonderful car for the money. Not as athletic as the Acura TL-S, but it is definitely a comfortable cruiser. Need to test out and drive the car you want on highway first before buying. Heard a lot of complaints about wobbling and dash board squeaking from postings on various sites. In fact, the test model I drove squeaked.

The car is outstanding. I moved down from an XJ8 Jaguar, and thought I would miss the Jag features. The Lexus doesn't have the flashing performance of the Jag but is a splendid automobile. Just returned from a 450 mile trip and the car is just a delight in every aspect. The navigation system is great, and the car performs flawlessly.

Very happy overall, but just a couple (minor) strange things about the car. 1.) The center console latch arrangement is a loser. I routinely open the compartment by accident. 2.) The garage door opener is not lighted - after a month still difficult to locate at night. Also difficult to navigate the 4 switches for trunk, shade, gas, in the dark. 3.) I also, very occasionally, feel unexpected acceleration. Fit and finish are great. Unlike other reviewers, I like the look of the car. Don't feel it is stodgy at all. Very smooth riding and quiet, which along with reliability were the main reasons for my purchase. Love the back up camera and parking assist.

Love this car. Have only put 2000 miles on it so far but I really love this car. I am a very big guy (wide not tall). I was tempted to buy a used LS to get the size, but have found that the ES 350 accomodates me very nicely. I did not want the panoramic roof, don't find it very practical since I drive alone most of the time. I sat in many vehicles with and without Mark Levinson sound system and could not hear a difference between the premium and ML systems at all using XM radio, iPod, CD classical music, jazz etc. I read over and over the ML radio is fantastic but I must say the premium w/nav etc. is a pleasure to listen to for about $2000 less.

I've had the car for a week, but I'm very impressed. This is my wife's car, previous car was a 97 MB E320, I drive a BMW 330Ci so I'm more performance oriented. This is a quality car, with all the bells and whistles you could ever want. Acceleration is very good, 6.7 0-60, super quiet, excellent transmission, etc. The electronics are fantastic. Plan to spend time with the manuals. The plastics are top quality. Got 31 mpg on the road back from the dealership, expect 24-26 combined driving. The styling is better in person than the pics. I'd say if you want a lux car, loaded with techno, then this car offers the greatest bang for the buck.

A New Breed of Lexus ES

I've owned many cars from all the German & Japanese manufacturers. I fully appreciate performance and luxury in a vehicle. For this purchase, I was in search of the best combination. The other cars on my list were the Acura RL & Infiniti M35. You might think that the ES doesn't belong in the same class with the others & it doesn't... for performance. With the ES Ultra-Luxury package it's close to the same price class. The ES offers the best overall combination of comfort, technology, simplicity, luxury & MPG. In short, it's a better value than both the others. It will not handle to the RL or M35 standards, but try it. It's a new breed of ES that is sure to please.

I love the plush interior and all its bells and whistles. It has the get up and go to get on the freeways.

I have owned the ES 350 for almost a week now and I have loved every minute! This car has it all, Luxury, Performance and Quality. For me it came down to the Acura TL and the Lexus. The TL was nice but reminded me of my BMW. The Lexus on the other hand had me "giddy with excitement” This is something for a guy who has seen much of the world and has lived a great life! Kudos to Lexus!

Driven Honda/Acura since 1986. Looked to buy RL/TL & Infiniti M35 but this car sold me, even above the GS. Hot style (finally), cool ride and luxurious all around. Sure a different feel than TL or M. But as I get older the fun of driving comes from the roominess, ease and support of having the car do more for me....and at a great price. This car is contemporary and leads the pack and for me, it also reminds me of the days as a kid when Caddys and Lincolns made heads turn by its smoothness, plushness and power. Except the ES 350 has more to boot with its Levinson and Premium package to awe you.

Nice handling, holds tight on corners. Enough power to feel sporty even if it is a sedan. Interior cabin is comfortable, slightly tight on head room if you are tall. All the bells and whistles for a lot less than you would pay with some other luxury brands. No real reason to buy the smaller engined GS when this has it all plus better acceleration for about 10K less.

I love this car. I traded my 2005 ES 330 for this it is a much better car in everyway. I got the first one in my city I was there when they roll it off the truck, I love this car. It rides better, the trans is not sluggish and it gets up and moves out. I am a big guy I know they say it is the same size but I fit much better in this one than the 330. I have the ultra luxury model and I love all the features. This Lexus ES 350 Is one bad ES.

I've had the 350 for 1 month and compared to the 2004 ES 330, this car is significantly better. The transmission no longer hesitates, increased power and at least 2-3 mpg better. The screen on the Gen 5 Nav is much improved and visible during the day. Moving control to the steering wheel + bluetooth makes functions more accessible.

The ride is so smooth it feels like the car is gliding on air. But hit the brake and you will see how well grounded the car is as it stops in a heart beat. Optional packages are great. I have little kids and wouldn't have even considered a car without side airbag. The chrome wheels match perfectly with the door handles and are not too flashy to ruin the conservative/classic style of Lexus. I can not wait until the 2008 model come out. We will be buying hopefully newly designed RX 350.

I have owned my ES 350 for more than 3 months now and so far I'm very happy/satisfied. Before getting my ES 350, I have researched for more than a month on which is going to be my next vehicle. I test drove other competitors but the ES 350 is simply the best car of all I've tested. Pricewise it was also better than the others. There's plenty of room inside, interior is nice, rides smoothly either in city or highway driving and very responsive steering. I average 24 mpg in both city and highway driving. I currently own and have owned other Toyotas/Japanese vehicles before and they have lasted very long without any problems. Great car! I would truly recommend it!

After hours on the Internet researching vehicles I spent weeks visiting local dealership’s test driving many, many cars of various brands. Next stop Lexus dealership, they have this brand new 07 Lexus ES 350 in the showroom. I started looking the car over and right off I was amazed with all the standard and luxury features car had to offer. After test-driving the ES 350 I was sold, the quiet smooth ride was awesome. Needless to say, that was the end of my lengthy search. If you're looking for a car, test-drive the Lexus ES 350 first, it might save you time & money.

Quiet, with more power (thank you) and, finally, no more clunky hesitant transmission problems. This is a driver friendly vehicle, whose intent is to transport you safely, quietly and luxuriously. I have always thought of the ES as a vehicle that has great potential. Lexus has taken the ES to another level and it's not over yet.

However, for someone who really wants a classy, reliable, beautiful car focused on luxury (my wife), this car is a good value and a good choice. If you want a luxurious car with great build quality and great creature features for a good price, I highly recommend it.

Hash ride over bumps. Rear end will leave the ground after hitting bumps on curved highway ramps. Poor interior quality: some defects that Lexus won't fix. Transmission problems - misses gears usually between 3rd and 4th. Poor interior lighting. Limited storage and cup holders. Absolutely horrible seat cushioning. Can't see the wiper stalk while driving. Fair stereo. Car has rattles from day one.

I've had my car for a week and am enjoying it more and more. Learning all the technology is a steep curve for a genetic anti-technoid. I like the comfort, the body style and the Royal Red Metalic paint! It turns heads everywhere. I especially enjoy the multi adjustable seats and the quietness inside the car at speed. I'm coming off a 7 year old Viper so it may not be as noticable to you. I averaged about 27.5 miles per gallon in mixed driving and expect that will improve with a bit of mileage.

Mine is the tungsten pearl (silver) with light silver interior. Exterior much improved over the old ES 330. This car is built for a younger audience unlike its predecessor. One more thing, the acceleration is superb. This ES 350 beat out the BMW 325i by .1 second from 0-60.

I have owned 2 other Lexuses and never bought new but I saw this car about 3 wks prior to knowing I was going to need a new car and I just about fell over! The body style blew me away! After looking at the pre-owned, this car won hands down with all of the changes and upgrades that have been made and worth every extra dollar! They are pkg. the car different then the brochure and give you great features std. and in the upgraded. I upgraded plus nav... all of it a must. (Didn't do the Mark Levinson system - the std. sys. seems is great!) The power is excellent and the interior is very comfortable and quiet. An outstanding car for "entry level" luxury.
