Great car. Better looking than a Honda and you get all the bells and whistles like safety technology for cheap. Warranty is 100,000 and no one matches that. We will see if it holds up withhogher miles and how good the dealer is at fixing it.

I never considered Far East cars as interesting for me but 1 year ago I was offered a totaled 2019 Kia Optima LX for $ 750. I took it with the intention to repair and make a reasonable profit. Dealer wanted $ 10,000 for half of the parts needed but i managed to fix it for $ 3,800 in parts and 110 hours. I decided to use the Optima as grocery getter and oh boy was I pleasantly surprised. Comfortable ride, 31 mls per gallon in the city, lots of amenities and safety features, big trunk, seats my son (6.3 ft) comfortably in the back. I like the exterior design as well as the interior. I thought I would miss the remote start, but the air condition is so efficient, that even in Florida at 100 degrees after 30 seconds ice cold air is coming out of the vents. The Optima had 32,000 mls on the odometer when we got it and now at 43,000 mls in less than a year i am very pleased and decided to keep it for a while. The only “issue” is some road noise from the tires I believe I can get rid off when replacement is due. The noise is just noticeable but not loud a ought to be nuisance. Combined with a 5 year warranty I believe I am doing the right thing to be positively exited about having the Optima in our car fleet.

Kia optima 2020. Only has 5700 miles on the car and all sorts of warning lights are coming on. Sitting at dealership and they don't know what's wrong. Asked if I had had it in any other shop. I've only had the car for 2 months. Not feeling good about this.

The steering wheel has a highly reflective surface that is very distracting when sunlight hits it .The Ac fan goes from 2 to 3 and there is no inbeween which is crap at adjusting the temperature

Been wanting one for a few years and glad I was able to get it at a good price finally. I’ve been a long time Hyundai owner but Kia seems to become a bit more upscale than the Hyundai. Very satisfying purchase thusfar.
