The good is the styling, both interior and exterior. The bad is it's woefully underpowered. The good is the radio is really good. The bad is you get stuck with a Bluelink system that you can't turn off even if you decline authorization. (Commercials on screen for the life of the car because Hyundai says so) The good is the little 6 speed shifts great The bad is its still hooked to the underpowered engine. The good is you get roadside assistance. The bad is you'll need it because there's no spare tire The good is this is a nice economy car. The bad is no matter how it looks, its still just an Accent that went to the beauty parlor

We loved our Veloster at first and driving it was a blast it handles well.Bumps are another thing you feel all of them,, The interior is well designed ,but wish it had a handle above the passenger door, but the back is way to cramped.. Even my golden retriever dosnt like the head space and he wants to go everywhere. The 18 inch wheels look cool but i think the normal size would give a better ride ,that our biggest complaint the second is the engine ,it has no power ,Everytime we go up our drive which is very steep the engine has started to moan ,This is what scares us the most..

Great car exterior, acceleration is horrible

I was loaned this car while my new car was in line for being certified and it was not until another week from Fox Honda until my car was ready to drive. Exterior aesthetics are really nice, that's when I began to drive it I notice it was quite under performing. Brief overview, acceleration is like those in a manual transmission car; even though this car has both dual-clutch and 5-speed auto transmission. Suspension is horrible if you have no intention of driving over potholes, so it will be a very bumpy ride unless you navigate around them. The tires are thin, which is expected on a sports car like this. The upside is that it has Bluetooth and I paired it with my phone quite easily. Car also is equipped with XM Sirius, FM, AM, CD disc changer and you can charge your iPod/iPhone via USB. The car also sports an AUX port if you want to go old-school with music that uses 3.5mm headphone jack. One neat thing about this is that once you remove the key, the dashlight comes on for a brief 10-15 seconds for you to grab your things and exit.
