Nice car
We did a lot of comparison shopping. We got the limited with multiple sun roofs and navigation system. Once these extras are added in, this car is the best value, with best mileage. We have driven 1600 miles, including one long trip. In general we have found this an excellent car with great mileage and a lot of nice extras. While the rear-view is somewhat limited through the window, our model has a back up camera. We are very happy with this car.
AWSOME CAR
I traded in an 06 Honda crv. The 2010 Hyundai Tuscon is an awesome car. This vehicle has it all... Power... Looks... Style, and is fun to drive. I travel 35 miles one way to work, all highway driving. This vehicle makes the ride very pleasant, on the high way the ride is smooth, and stable and quiet. When you have to pass another car it gets up and moves. I loved my Honda but Hyundai has made a believer out of me. I love this vehicle. If your in the market for one take a test drive and you will be hooked. The interior is well done and driver frendly, not to mention it looks awesome, especially at night. Great job Hyundai

Back For Another One!
I bought a Tucson in 2005 (it's first year) being a bit hesitant at that time of the brand, but wanting a SUV and loving the affordable price. Well after five years, 100,000 miles, and NOTHING ever going wrong with it, I decided to buy a new one. With it's new slicker exterior and interior, the 2010 has a bit more to offer. I opted for the all wheel drive this time, and the ride isn't as smooth, but the added features have been nice.
Love it!
Coming from a BMW, I'm pleasantly surprised with Hyundai. They did a great job with the Tucson. Does it look like a luxury car, yes. Does it ride like a luxury car, unfortunately no. I notice the difference, but it's not enough to make me run out and buy a 45/50k BMW again. My first tank averaged approx 26/27 MPG and the second tank averaged approx 23/24 MPG. I drive 30 miles into the city for work daily (stop/go rush hour traffic - Chicago) and love only filling up ONCE a week instead of twice a week...oh, and I'm saving sooo much money since I no longer have to pay for premium!! I'm also surprised on the acceleration. For a 4cyl, it takes off. Friend drove it and thought it was a 6cyl.
All in all, so far so good
All in all so far so good. I have owned 40 cars, and this is a very solid car. My only complaints so far. the noise of the engine while outside of the car idling (although inside you cant hear it), and the chrome rings on the air vents reflecting in the windows. In other words, small things. Only been getting 24 mpg so far... but mainly city, with an average speed of 30 mph.. so good in my opinion. Everything is very well laid out, easy to fine, and the vehicle is deceptively big. much more room inside than you would think from the outside. The stiffer suspension than most CUV's is nice, and you can really feel the weight (or lack there of) compared with other similar vehicles. A+ all around
