Great Car
Time will tell. We've had this car for less than a month and the fuel economy is incredible!! We went 445 miles on one fill-up. Impressed with this vehicle.
Great car with a great price
For the money, you just can't beat this car. Have had it for 2.5 months with close to 8K miles. V6, leather, Infinity Sound, Power Roof, etc all for under $21K. Honda and Toyota couldn't touch this with a 10' pole! The ride, accelleration and ergonomics are great. I am imprssed with the fit and finish of the car as well. Would do it all over again!

New 'Hundee' owner
Previous Altima owner looking for similar size vehicle with same engine (2.4L)size. Liked the Sonata's styling and warranty; decided to buy since the price was right and so far so good. Satified with its roominess and engine response and smooth ride. Satisfied owner.
You need your warranty if they honor it?
Bouncy ride and poor quality. Rear brake pads worn to rotors at 21,000 miles. Hyundai said rust caused this problem. I have never had a car with rear pads worn to rotors with 21,000 miles. I bought an extended bumper to bumper warranty for 10 years 100,000 miles, but hope I never have to use it because I'm sure they will find some excuse not to honor it.
A few problems
Leased in 2007 for two years. Returned in June 2009. Needed new tires and brakes by 22,703 - in less than two years! Car had nice acceleration and was a smooth ride. The car had a nice look. However, the quality of the tires it came with and brake problems have soured me on the Hyundai brand. And, since my replacement tires weren't matched to the original brand, Hyundai is charging me a second time for two tires. I'm sure it's standard lease policy, but it feels wrong. I'll probably shop for another brand and avoid Hyundai all together since I anticipate having problems with any of their cars within only two years of purchase.
