Problems
I have owned my 2007 Hyundai Sonata for 2 weeks. After a few days, I realized that when I turn on the rear window defroster there is a lot of interference with the radio reception. Also, some of the defroster "wires" don't work at all. I took the car to the dealership. They confirmed the problems, but didn't repair them. They are currently "talking" to Hyundai to see what they will do. This is ridiculous. This is a NEW car with major problems and Hyundai can't decide what to do. For me, the only option is for them to replace the rear window. I think I made a BIG mistake by purchasing a Hyundai.
great car
had this car for 2 years, 3 trips to florida about 4M miles per trip never had a problem, great in very cold winter starts, excellent running car, would buy another in a heart beat
Better than any american car i've had!
I have had this car about 2 and half years. I have had no problems as of yet. I am almost at 50,000 miles. I am thinking about upgrading to the Genesis, it also looks like a great car.
Best value in car industy
I bought the car in July '09 with 12,000 miles on it. I have since put about 6k miles on it and the car is superb. The engine is quite yet powerful. The design and look of the car rivals some of the 2009 and 2010 models out there now. The looks is absolutely timeless. This is my first Hyundai and I have to say I think I have found the company I will give my future business to. The only complaint I have is that the suspension is a little noisy. Sometimes even little bumps in the road sounds like your hitting a big pothole.
Love my Sonata!
Outstanding performance, quick engine, comfortable ride, well-designed interior, big back seat, luxury feel to it.
