Used 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe Consumer Reviews
AWD failure
Was told the spines in the transmission have broken, you have no way of knowing they broke until the dealership inspects the transmission. The tranny could have broken under warranty but i have no way of knowing. The dealership was able to inspect the tranny as it was off due to the engine blowing, cost the fix the tranny is 6k. A 2014 1700,000km car with a blown engine and tranny, was not worth the price at all.

2015 Engine failure,no warning.
7/23/025,015 Santa Fe Ultimate,134,000 miles 3.3, V6 engine w/o ANY warning,no dash warning lights, wife 2hrs on hwy to visit family, engine suddenly starts making loud clanking sound. Mechanic advised not drive.Said had identical vehicle, less miles at shop, identical problem. New engine needed. Pulled off next exit. Stalled, restarted. Drove to next, very close gas station lot.Thank God it was not at night nor on a rural road.We towed to closest family's house.Wife's car, original owner. All maintenance done per manual. Online research shows eg Fbook page,"Hyundai Engine Problems".Their engines have had similar concerns w/other frustrated owners. They started a campaign eariy 019 about engine problems, offerng extended warranty's.ObvIously Hyundai knew these engines were potentially defective regardless of being well maintained. We never were notified. Should have done a recall, not a campaign !? Trying to find out more. Regardless not paying for new engine nor buying another Hyundai.

POS and uncomfortable
after buying the vehicle with 76,••• miles on it we’ve put another 68,000 miles on it in little over a year this suv has by far been the most uncomfortable vehicle I’ve driven. The only good thing it has going for it is I usually can get 28 to 31 mpg
