I researched and I have test driven quite a few SUVs. The Hyundai Santa Fe checks a lot of my boxes and balances economy, size, features, price, handling, power, and finishings.

No spare tire

Had a tire blow out and discovered the car comes with no spare tire. What should have been an inconvenience turned out to be an expensive ordeal of hundreds in towing costs.

This vehicle has a plethora of safety features that operate occasionally. This far the vehicle has proven quite unpredictable in performance and downright dangerous to drive.

ride, handling great . cruise control to sensitive. not sure of battery capacity can't get it to charge over 75% . to me that is not using full capacity of battery, however highway /city driving getting about 34 mpg? talked to a service tech and wasn't impressed with his reasoning..will pursue this quirk further
