Not only do I know own the biggest head turning vehicle know to man at the moment, but the store that i bought it from was the best, When I bought it, the sales guy took me on their own test track to give me a "crash course" in off-roading, they were very helpful and professional

I customized mine with products available from Xtremeflow in California and am getting 13-14 mpg city and 16-17 hwy with 400 horsepower! With an overdrive the hwy mileage could get as high as 19 mpg with an additional gear. Set up like this the off road performance is beyond extream and it doesn't empty my wallet in the city.

People get out of your way when driving this truck. Off road capability is outstanding, but manners to match for city driving. Gas mileage is better than I would expect as it gets similar mileage to my Ford Expedition. Overall Fun Fun Fun!

Ex-rangerover driver. Noise level in the interior is higher than that of the Range Rover. Had to make a couple of extra moves to park in a crowded mall parking lot. Limited visibility was also something to get used to - like watching a letterbox version movie - after being used to the Range Rover's awesome openness. (still need to get used to the annoying tire in the truck!) Even I could've done a better job designing the interior. One would expect a fancier and more tailored look in a "luxury" SUV. A GPS navigation system should be standard. Definitely enjoying the COOL factor! Great on the highways.

We own Jeeps, Mercedes, and a Suburban. The H2 is much more then any of them. And if you want a real head turner, this is the Truck to get. We purchased a tire rack (from the dealer) for the rear which gives you more room inside the vehicle. We are getting 12.9 mpg which is the same as our suburban. We Love the H2

I loved the H2 the first time I saw it on the net early last year. Ordered one even before test driving it. Test drove one and loved it even more. Had mine for 5 months now and I wouldn't drive anything else. The drive is excellent. The mileage isn't really as bad as I expected. 10/gallon? What do you expect? It goes up to 16-17/gallon on cruise control at 55-65 mph. Got it initially for the looks: a 10, For the drive: a 10, All wheel drive is a plus: a 10, and I live in snow country: so far a 10 for that as well. If you can afford one, GET ONE!

Waited 16wks for my H2. Have the truck 3months and put 400 local miles on it. Get 10.3mpg. Easier to handle then my Suburban geat ride but the whole under carriage is rusting out in such a short time.

Absolutely love it. I came from a Lexus LX470 which of course is more refined, quieter, smoother, more reliable, and also a great off roader, but it was not fun. This is an absolute blast to drive. I always wanted and H1 but thought its size and interior was not usable. This was the perfect blend between Hummer H1 and a livable usable vehicle. Feels like a load, but drives nicer than I thought it would. Has great character and my kids love it. I guess I am a big kid and that is also why I like it. Hummer and Gm did an excellent job in a short amount of time. Hope the reliablilty is livable.

This is by far the best performing and looking SUV on & off the road. Awesome off road performance leaves Jeeps, Land Rovers and the ugly "G" in the dust. If you don't intend to take it off road (often) go buy something else because you'll be complaining about the fuel economy, sluggish acceleration and other whiney stuff which are minor details for a true off roader.

Had mine a week. It drives great, looks great, feels great. No a/c problem here. Boze system sounds good, but admittedly not great. Sufficient power to merge onto freeways though some may wish for more. Gas mileage 11 to 15 mpg, but look what your buying -- a Hummer! It handles easier and parks easier than a Suburban. The inside mounted spare tire is not the distraction I thought it would be, although exterior swing mounting is available. Watch out, though, it is 82 inches high with luggage rack (check your garage door). It's not a Yukon, or an Escalade -- good grief, if that's what you're after buy one of them. This is a HUMMER.

Great Vehicle. The ride is excellent, the power superb and the handling is GREAT for a big SUV. The luxury on the interior is wonderful. Only minor drawback is the spare tire mounted in the rear cargo area. This is a big tire and it take up a lot of space. Of all the SUV's out there, nothing compares in price, ride, quality and comfort to the H2 Hummer. If your looking for huge cargo area I would have to say, get a suburban.

Great alternative (more affordable) to the H1. Exterior style is great; but like other reviews have mentioned, too much platic inside. I doubt it would beat a grand cherokee in a race on the highway, but thats not what its about. Hummer is a class to itself, why did they have to steal the jeep grill?

i traded in my '00 navigator for it. with the exception of lack of interior roominess, 9 months and 10k miles later, i'm still satisfied with my choice. as far as fuel consumption goes, i find it comparable to the other suv's i've owned. i find the handling and performace of my yellow '03 h-2 to be most satisfying. and the best part is, my wife loves it!

Not nearly as luxurious as the Lincoln Navigator, but much sportier and fun to drive. Nearly impossible to keep clean as there are more nooks and crannies than any auto should have - let alone a off road vehicle.

I purchased a yellow H2 at the end of 2002 for the vehicle look and the fun I was told that it was. My wife hated this color and wasn't perticully interested in the Hummer. The first snow I went out with my wife and friends, she was won over quickly. The safety, and ride were a big plus for her. I think it is really a great deal of fun to drive. The ONLY negative is the poor gas miliage but the safety, fun, and ride more then make up for the loss in miliage.

The 2003 Hummer H2 is by far the best truck I have ever owned. I have the Luxury package model in black. The H2 is powerful, beautiful interior, turns more heads than a $300,000 Bently, what more could you want from a SUT.

i enjoy my hummer, this vehicle sits high off the ground, visibilty clear,no blind spots-in the reverse mode, the side mirrors adjusts itself, and when in drive ,the side mirrors re-adjusts itself-very personalized- with a semi- reclinning nature for confort, that if you have back problems, this seating takes the stress off the back and you can actually drive longer in confort, which is the situation for me. the x-tras ,is very expensive-letters and the gas cap covering, will cost you a little more than $ 500.00 dollars. but i feel it is justifiable, after all YOU ARE driving a HUMMER.

I've had my Hummer for 10 days. The gawks from people of all ages is distracting to downright funny. It's everyone's favorite new SUV. Mileage in first 1000 mi is 10 mph. Ride is very smooth - a lot like my Suburban. Heated seats will scorch your butt. Would love a full third row seat. Interior is very comfortable. Gadgets are great. Took too long to receive from factory. Ordered in late June, delivery in early October. Could not get sunroof.

Generic. Looks great, but then you sit in it and everything is generic. Hyundaiesque plastics and no room to be had. Ride isn't impressive either. Only buy this if you are so into vanity that your ego needs looks from everyone when you drive around. You're better off buying a Suburban. It's tha same low quality product.

I just purchased my vehicle, and yes i was one of those people who bought mine without a test drive. But, O have to say that i was pleasently surprised by the ride. I also have an Expedition and the Hummer is a lot better ride. I enjoy everything about this vehicle (except the gas mileage). I think the sound system is great and I do agree that the inside is a lil too plastic for my taste but it doesnt bother me that much. I think anyone out there that is looking for a awesome SUV in this price range should consider nothing else but the H2.

MOSTLY SATISFIED WITH MY PURCHASE OF THE 2003 HUMMER 2, PURCHASED IN AUGUST 2003. HOWEVER ALREADY GETTING A SQUEAKING NOISE IN THE DRIVER'S SIDE REAR PART OF THE VEHICLE. ALSO, NOISE LEVEL FROM WIND SEEMS TO BE EXCEPTIONALLY LOUD COMING FROM THE WINDSHIELD AREA. ALSO REAR WINDOW ALMOST SEEMS LOOSE. P.S. I HAVE NOT HAD THIS VEHICLE 4 WHEELING EITHER, PRETTY MUCH BABIED. OTHER THAN THOSE ISSUES, VEHICLE IS GREAT TO DRIVE.

I had a deposit on it for 1 year. The dealer that I worked with was really great in keeping me informed as to it's progress. I had one of the first on the road and the looks of people who had never seen was was really fun! Every stop that I made was full of curious onlookers that wanted to see the interior, engine, etc. I can't tell you how many people (total strangers!) I let sit in it! No problems with it and it is very comfortable and fun to drive. Lots of great off roading experiences with it and it has unbelievable capabilities.

If you are going to take a trip, you have a choice, either luggage or the family. There isn't room for both. The exterior spare tire mount is both cumbersome and expensive ($1,300.+) The roof rack is functional, however you will need a ladder to acess it. Overall styling is good, but, it appears that GM relied on to much plastic and veneer. Fuel mileage leaves a lot to be desired, mixed city and highway 10.5 mpg.

Love driving this vehicle. Simular creature comforts to the Cadillac Escalade however, some creature comforts have been lost that are small but needed like a place to hang your jacket or load from the cleaners since there are no hooks anywhere and the center console is small inside and not functional such as light or plug in or tissue holder, no light in glove box.....little things My only other item is the acceleration is poor along with mileage. this thing need an additional 100 horsepower from the factory.

We've had a lux w/ air susp & sunroof for a month now (2400 miles), and have very few complaints. Suprisingly practical as an everyday City driver, but it's not for those wanting an "easy" family hauler. Get a Volvo for that. Creams our old 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee off-road (haven't even had to crack 4-Lo yet), and is amazingly well-mannered on-road. Now, TC2. It overrides the normal traction control that would bring any normal SUV with a "modern" TC system to a halt in snow because they apply brakes when they detect slippage and you need a certain amount of slippage. The TC2 button allows for that slippage (just hit the button!). Huge difference!
